Is it possible to write an SAP Script that captures Snapshot of SM51 (Running Application) and schedule that to run every 30 minutes? If yes, how I make it work?

User Defined Search in SAP ABAP Monitoring: SXMB_MONI for Synch messages

I am trying to setup a used defined search criteria for synch message in S4 side. But, it is not working when executed from SXMB_MONI and working only when tested in the test search criteria.

I have the function module SWNC_GET_WORKLOAD_SNAPSHOT , having the table MEMORY, I see column PRIVSUM having the value 1.518.048 and MEMSUM having 1.404.915

Can PRIVSUM be greater than MEMSUM ?

I don't want to create the structure, because it already exists, but I just need to add it to the standard table. How can I do that?

since they are structures, I can't do a Select, are there tables that I can use that are connected to these structures? Or are there Function Modules?

Hi Everyone

The third-party application is sending data to SAP Standard RFC BAPI parameter, then the BAPI will prepare a data then extract it / send it to third party application

My question is how to view the RFC BAPI received data and sent to third party application without any code modification? is there a log history of data received/sent in SAP or tcode I can use to view the received/sent data?

Like for example: these BAPI parameters was sent to third party application yesterday after a week I want to review/check the data sent to third party application

in my old custom RFC there are 3 import parameters ( IV_NAME, IV_AGE, IV_ADDRESS )

Existing

need to add

Field	IV_CITY
Value	CITY1

in the XI/PO mapping the parameter is ( IV_NAME, IV_AGE, IV_ADDRESS )

In the new requirement we need to add and get the City from file created from XI/PO, I already adjusted the custom RFC and added the IV_CITY and the XI/PO team also added the new parameter IV_CITY to the mapping. while doing debugging, I checked the import parameter in the RFC and saw that the RFC did not receive the City value, what could be the cause of the issue?

Hi,

I need to pass data from one LUW to another in my SAP system. Initially, I tried using Memory ID, but I encountered issues when multiple sessions attempted to update the same Memory ID simultaneously.

In my system, Shared Memory is not allowed, so I am exploring other options. I am considering using a persistence mechanism, but I don’t want to create a custom Z table to store the data.

Is there a way to achieve this using standard SAP features, such as persistent objects, temporary cluster tables, or any other alternatives?

Hi,

more than 10 years ago i wrote a couple of blogs on ABAP
performance tracing with ST12 (see below).

The performance tools in ADT and the tools for SAP GUI

in the SAP standard (STATS, SAT, ST05 and SCI) are

always available and particularly good in their specific areas.
But for me, ST12 was (and in 2025 still is) like a
Swiss army knife when it comes to ABAP performance tracing.
I like to use it as a first tool and revert to the other tools when
necessary.

In the last 10+ years i haven't been active on here since

i worked on other topics. Now I'm back and work on ABAP (and

CDS and HANA) topics again. I looked a little bit around here and
still remember some names that i have seen more than 10 years ago.

I wonder if ABAP performance tracing is sill a topic or are

ABAP performance problems = solved problems? Would

you be interested in an update on ST12 or is this an outdated

topic and not relevant to you anymore?

Automatically export / save update errors and short dumps

Hi,

As auditors keep an eye on missing document numbers, we have to explain these.

We found out they often come from update errors in SM13 (with corresponding short dumps in ST22).

For documentation and analysis we need to be able to access these historically.
As short dumps are reorganized regularly and update errors should be deleted before updates we need another solution.

Is there a way to automatically export update errors and (corresponding) short dumps?

Hello,

I encounter an issue in fiori " My Inbox". The error is intermittent (sometimes there's an error but sometimes it is working properly)

sample uri with error(sorry but I cannot post the whole URI): /sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING;v=2;mo/TaskCollection/$count/?$filter=Status%20eq%20%27READY%........

Method: GET

Status code: 500 after successful login, 400 after clicking the My Inbox with error

If the tile has error , this error message will appear

I think there's no issue in the configuration because sometimes it is working

The RFC Destination is NONE, and connection Type is "I" (Internal Connection)

the ZTASKPROCESSING we maintained in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and the taskprocessing maintained in SICF is activated

no dump in ST22

no duplicate keys/task

but there is an error in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG and IWBEP/ERROR_LOG

Frontend - An exception was raised

Backend - Soapfaultcode: Authentication failed (not sure yet if this is the root cause)

FYI: we are using BPM for the workflow, the standard software version we used in /IWFND/ROUTING is /IWPGW/BPM, current system is ECC. The tasks in the "My Inbox" is coming from custom table

what could be the other possible cause of the intermittent error, any idea or anyone has experienced this kind of issue? or can you share your techniques on how to find the root cause of error
