BER AI Model Training Job Issue

Hi SAP Community,

We have been trying to train custom AI model for Business Entity Recognition from past couple of weeks. But, we need to know how we can structure training document as there are issues with let's say double quotes or data issue in so & so line?
There is no mention of whether double quotes within text can be used or not?

Comparing SAP IRPA and SAP Invoice Management (Vendor Invoice Mgmt)

Hello Experts,

Need some guidance on comparison of SAP IRPA & SAP Invoice Management (VIM) by OpenText.

Ex. for use case of automating of extracting data from vendor invoice pdf attachments from mailbox and uploading to SAP screens (ex MIRO), is combination of "SAP IRPA + SAP AI Business services like Document Information Extraction" sufficient or "SAP Invoice Management" alone to be considered. What could be the pros/cons of each approach

Can Document Information Extraction be used to post supplier invoice in SAP ERP ECC 6.0?

Hello,

My understanding is that it is possible with SAP Build Process Automation to create an automated process using Document Information Extraction service to extract data and then post supplier invoices in an S/4HANA on-premise system. This would be done with api_supplierinvoice_process_srv_0001, if that is correct.

However, in my scenario it is an SAP ERP ECC 6.0 on-premise system that is conntected to SAP BTP, using cloud connector. Is it possible to use Document Information Extraction service in a similar way as described above to automatically post supplier invoices and how would this be achieved?

Hi juliana.morais et al,

I hope you are well. I have been exploring use cases for SAP BTP and completing few missions with SAP BTP Trial account. I reckon the Data Attribute Recommendations might be helpful for the Data Integrity team here to create and maintain the articles master data. Hence, I have been following the tutorials, e.g., Use Data Attribute Recommendation With Your Own Dataset | SAP Tutorials, which are excellent!

I was able to create my own schema, dataset, and upload my csv file successfully. However, I am now stuck. I cannot create nor delete the job.

I could not find any notes, and most of blogs are not technical at all to troubleshoot Data Attribute Recommendation. Apologies if I missed anything. I hope I can get any help.

1. Is there a way I can process the Settlement Statement, Imbalance summary report & Monthly activity reports documents through SAP-DIE Tool other than the default document types already available in the tool which are (Invoice, Payment Advice & Purchase Order)?

Can I train my own Document Information Extraction model?

I am currently trying to figure out a way to train my own Document Information Extraction model. I work with pharmaceutical batch records and need to extract the information. Creating a template for them in the standard Document Information Extraction app wouldn't work because they are all quite diverse. Can someone recommend to me the best approach to take?

Within SAP, where can I develop this application that will allow it to access foundational models? Can I train, test, and verify the model within said development environment? Is there a way to leverage generative AI to aid me?

In a OpenSAP course I did, the lecturers mentioned that we'd be able to further train existing Foundational Models to suite our use cases. Is that available yet, and if so, where is it situated?

How do I access the Generative AI hub? Does it form part of the AI Launchpad?

I am new to the SAP space and find it challenging to navigate all the different products and services.

we have created and deployed a service through ai launchpad, and have a service url.however i need to hit this api and get the response in my code. when i hit the url through postman i get 404 error.

SAP has made significant investments in the field of artificial intelligence, and I have been fascinated by AI JOULE. I am impressed with the concept of end users being able to operate and configure the SAP system through natural language. Moreover, SAP Business AI appears to provide users with valuable implementation recommendations, based on the analysis of business data. This integration of AI into the SAP system enables users to interact with it in a more intuitive and efficient manner, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.

However, as I embark on my journey as a new SAP consultant, I am curious to know to

1) What extent AI will challenge the role of SAP consultants in the future? How far is the future?
