Update Member properties of SAC model via API

Our business requirement is to send details from SAC to SF , But we want to also update the member status of the data was send successfully to SF .

I am aware about the export API, Could you let me know if this is possible for we can update a member's details via an API from external middleware like SAP CPI?

How to load prospective data using incremental feature

Hello,

In SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), We are required to load the data in Classic Model which will be loaded for System date -3 i.e., if today is 17.07.2024 then system should load the data for 14.07.2024. Which will then should be based on incremental which means every day the date should get changed by default.
for example: on 18.07.2024 system should by default change the data load as 15.07.2024.

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on integrating sales orders from an SAP Business ByDesign data source. When refreshing the dimension, data is coming in with leading zeros, even though I set the dimension to an integer in the modeler. Unfortunately, this isn’t trimming the leading zeros as expected. I also tried a script in stories to remove them, but I’m encountering errors. Does anyone know of another way to display the values without leading zeros?

If anyone has faced a similar issue, your advice would be appreciated!

Is there any way to sync an all-Page filter with an Input_Control filter?

I have a bar chart in Page 1. I want to select a dimension in the bar chart from Page 1 to filter whole of Page 2 using that value.

I'm able to do this, but the problem is that I already have an Input Control page filter on Page 2; the value of which is not changing because of the Page 1 filter. Is there any way to sync the All-Page / Story filter with an Input Control filter?

How to show the Story Filter value in a Textbox in SAC?

I want to show the story filter value in a textbox. If 'All' is selected in the filter, then it should show 'All Business Units' otherwise it should show only the specific value that is selected.

Currently what I did: I used a dynamic text & added that in the textbox. It shows 'All Business Units' when 'All' is selected in the filter, but if other options are selected (for example X or Y), then it is showing 'X Business Units' or 'Y Business Units' because the Business Units section is hardcoded in the textbox. I only want to show X or Y when the specific option is selected in the filter.

Is this possible to achieve? Kindly suggest if there's any way to achieve this!

I am planning to use the employee ID as the USER ID, but users who were created directly in IAS do not have an employee ID. Which attributes from Azure and IAS would be best to use as the USER ID in SAC?

Is the login name field in IAS always provisioned as the USER ID in SAC via IPS?

Upload/copy paste to table level not to model in SAP SAC Story

Hi Experts!!

Here is the requirement!!

we want to copy paste from excel to SAC table /Story. While copy pasting it is taking time and performance is poor. is there any custom widget or solution to upload a file just to story table respecting filters not to model level.

Note:

1.Kindly don't recommend Upload starter , as our model has many dimensions to map, where user file doesn' t have , it has to pick up story/table level filters.

2. We have already pre-populated the data to initialize the combinations with zero's , as our data is a NON-SAP data at discrete level. (validation rules will not work as we have more than 8 dimensions)

using CSV or Excel file just upload data to story at table level only (Not via Upload/Import Jobs from model)

Model level /upload starter we tried , but we have to write custom logic to fetch other dimensions

Optimal Storage Path for Manual Data:
- Could you recommend the most suitable storage path for the manual data? For instance, would using Google Drive or another cloud storage service be ideal for this purpose? I am looking for a solution that ensures easy access and integration with SAC.
Best Medium for Automatic Data Integration:
- What would be the best medium to automatically join the manual data with the live SAP data every month? Some duplicated values on SAC export

Hello, I'm kinda stumped by something and need any help I could get.

I've built a dashoard on SAC which is a big inventory table. When I export the table to Excel, some rows (around 2 or 3% of the total) display duplicated values on Excel. However, on the SAC interface and on DSP, they're showing the correct values.

Any idea what is happening?

EDIT: Thank you for responses, I figured out what was the origin of the issue: I had two calculated dimension using the same field, when I took these off, my export was correct. We suspect it might be related to language translation on those fileds, we will be opening a case with SAP.

After job run in BODS material code is not generated

For data integration from api to s4hana BODS is implemented. After batch job is successful data can see in s4hana but one field is showing like " Sent to SAP " but material is not generating code.

In SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), I am scheduling multiple import jobs for a particular data source where the data is imported from an SAP ERP system.

Is there a way to track the status of these scheduled import jobs (e.g., success, failure, duration, etc.) and automatically send a daily email notification summarizing the job refresh status?

Is it possible to get the last months of every quarter based on the selection of the date at quarter level.

suppose if i select 2026Q1 in the input Control then in the view of the table is required as below

so if the user select a quarter then we need post and pre 4 last month of each quarter in the table how can we achieve this.
