Guys, it appears that the problem has been fixed.

For me, as I created all the credentials correctly, both for iOS and Android, the compilation generated the .ipa (For iOS) and the apk (For Android) normally and without any errors.

Hi,

I created a Launchpad in Workzone where I added several apps (HTML5 apps that were coming from SAP Build Apps, that i deployed in the BTP)

However, I want to have these apps as well in another Launchpad, SAP Fiori Launchpad.

Do you know how should I proceed? thanks in advance

Error 403 when calling Process Automation API on deployed SAP Build App

Hi all,

currently i'm facing an issue, where I receive an error 403 on trying to start my Process Automation workflow with this API: https://api.sap.com/api/SPA_Workflow_Runtime/path/post_v1_workflow_instances.
It's working when I start it with Postman. On the preview-version from SAP Build Apps it is also working fine.

But on the deployed version it isn't working.
I found out, that the bearer token is missing:

The common request header is filled. It looks like the data query "query.authConfig.authToken" is empty.

Does anybody has an idea what's wrong here? In the past it worked like a charm.

(PT-BR 🇧🇷Boa tarde, tudo bem, eu não sei se houve alguma alteração nos sistemas que tenha relação com o componente "HTTP Request" do SAP Build App, segue imagem em anexo, eu tenho uma aplicação simples que usa este componente para enviar dados de configuração para um sensor remoto, até o dia 30 de março a aplicação compilava normalmente e o APP enviava os dados de configuração normal, mas, depois do dia 01 de abril, toda compilação final para Android não envia mais os dados via HTTP , e retorna no tratamento de erro apenas a mensagem "UNKNOW", e desde então meu projeto parou, não sei o que fazer, o mais engraçado, dentro do simulador roda perfeitamente.🇧🇷

I want to display a total number. From what I understand, I need to create 2 page variable to store the input number (it will be two input field) and add a text component that use a formula to get the value from the page variable. For example:

My problem is I want that input data to be bind with data variable (it will connect to the process automate). How can I achieve this? Any helps will be great.

We are implementing build process automation using a sub process mechanism ( calling sub process in main process ). on executions of main process we are getting two line items in approval inbox.

Is it possible to merge two line item of approval inbox into one line item.

Could you please suggest or help on this how we can achieve it.

systemVars in SAP BUILD apps

Hello Experts,

We have built an web application in SAP BUILD apps and have deployed it on BTP CF. And we are using this app link in the SAP C4C mashup URL with parameters. When i try to use the systemVars in the buildapps and try to test it locally with the preview option, it shows the user details e.g. displayName, email, firstName, lastName. But when try to locate the same fields on deployed application, it doesn't show these fields there. Any one has experienced this earlier?

I am trying to edit a private variable, date in the Calendar component(viewed_date), but its not getting changed at all.When i created a new private variable and try to set a value ,its showing undefined.Please help me with this query.
Note : Its happening with only one application

Retreiving AppGyver project

I originally developed a project in IPA format through the platform AppGyver. However, it seems that the platform has transitioned to SAP Build App, and I'm now unable to access it using my previous AppGyver credentials.

Could you please advise me on how I can retrieve my project from the transitioned platform? Any guidance or assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I am using BTP destination- OAuth2Client authentication-

but test call is failing - AxiosError: Request failed with status code 500

This same call is successfull though POSTMAN.

I have deployed a python app to BTP which is called via an app router setup using the following blog:

This uses an xsuaa service for authentication.

My next step is to use the above app as a service in a SAP BUILD Apps application via a BTP DESTINATION, but I am struggling to get a working example of how exactly to set up the destination.

Do I point it to the approuter with the service key generated in the xsuaa service binding?

What is the authentication method?

Sap Build Andriod app displays black screen after logging in

Hello Sap Builders,

I am trying to build a sample android app using my trail account to fetch products from Northwind. I configured all the required configurations following this link. I am able to view the data while previewing the data in Lunch application. However, when I build the apk package and installed it on android mobile, I got a build login screen and when I entered username and password, the screens go on loading forever without any log messages and after sometime, the app crashes saying that is "not responding". I tried building the app several times and every time getting stuck at the same screen. Can you help me if I am missing anything here?

In brief, below activities are performed.

1. Ran booster to create build apps, custom identity provider and other required subscriptions
2. Created destination for Northwind in btp cockpit
3. Enabled the btp destination in build app and used the odata in UI canvas.
4. Preview app is successful
5. Create java keystore file in business application studio and used in build.
6. Enabled mobile services for the app and build the android app.
7. Installed the apk file and authenticated using build custom idp credentials/
8. After authentication, the screen goes black and eventually, "app not responding" with options either to wait or close the app.

Multi Combo box with input control in SAP Build Apps

Hi Experts,

I am using the Multi Combo box with input from the marketplace. I have a requirement to set some values in the list as selected during load of the app. For this i used the Set component property from marketplace and tried to set the SelectedTokenList. I was able to set the list to the control but after this the list in the multi combo box is not shown.

Can anyone help me to set the values in the multi combo box with input control and still get the list bound to the combo box.

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue in SAP Build when attempting to retrieve a File Collection from SFTP (Port 22). Although the connection appears to be stable and the folder path is valid, when utilizing the Get File Collection for FTP function, it returns 0 lists and 0 elements, despite the presence of multiple files within the folder.

i am trying to add an external URL in one of the SAP Build apps using Inline Frame . So i am trying to add the URL in src properties but i am a blank screen while previewing the app in Web.

Please guide how to embed the URL.
