The web service has a normal xsuaa with which I can make local requests, but when I deploy to productive and put xsuaa authentication to the webservice I can only send one token to the web service and I don't know how to send the second one for database authentication What could be the most appropriate solution?

Due to evolving project requirements, I need to extend all three components—DB, service, and App—to operate in SPACE2 of the same subaccount. Redirecting to Build Apps when trying to open SAP BAS application from BTP

Hi Experts,

Good Day!

I created a BTP Trail account and had the detailed set up of a trail sub-account subscribed to SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Build Apps(Used Boosters to get the complete set up). You can see my subscription details in below screenshot.

I've done this set up a month back and continuously using the same.

My actual Question is When I'm trying to log into the SAP Business Application Studio it is redirecting me to SAP Build Page.

When I'm clicking on the "SAP Business Application Studio" from the screen shown in above screenshot, it is first loading the BAS, but in few seconds it is taking me to SAP Build page like in the below screenshots.

Note : I've not done any config changes to my BTP sub-account. I'm facing this issue from yesterday(6-5-2024). Till yesterday, the BAS was working perfectly fine.

I Am Facing A Problem To Open Business Application Studio (BAS) From The Cockpit. Whenever I Try To Click On The Link from Cockpit, It Always Redirect To SAP Build Code. Different Web Browsers (Chrome & Opera)Were Also Used With Incognito Mode But No Luck.

In The BAS I Am Using trial Account And There Are Already Deployed Project Exist.

Fiori Tools Visual Studio Code Completion No Suggestions

Hi,

when trying to develop a Fiori Elements App in Fiori Tools for Visual Studio there are almost never any suggestions for values. What I really want to find out for example which options there are for the chart settings like here when developing an Analytical List Page:

There are no suggestions on what values I can put in here, I guess because they are strings(?).
When i go to the API reference for example for sap.suite.ui.generic.template.AnalyticalListPage I would expect maybe a list of settings possible for this, but there isn't. Is there a way to find out what can be done within the settings of those completely SAP standard elements? So far I always just found the options through scattered documentation by SAP or by blog posts.

I installed the extensions the sap recommends for visual studio.

To be honest it is a bit frustrating to have to test where for example if it is called "

presentationAnnotationPath" or just "annotationPath" or anything else, with no way for me to find out. Like in the backend CDS where you can see what are the possibilities, and test around.

How to consume the oData Services in BAS and run locally

Hello All,

we are in process of migration from neo to cloud foundry trying to create a new SAP fiori app and trying to add the OData services.after adding tried to run locally in BAS but the oData service metadata is failing to load.

Steps followed:

Created a new sap Fiori app in BAS

Trying to consume on-premise OData service or any other APIs
Added the service in BTP destinations
Added the same in Xs-app.json
Added the service in data sources in manifest.json
Added the same in models in manifest.json
And tried to run the app locally from BAS after running locally in the developer tools network I’m able to see metadata is failing for the service which i added.
Could anyone please help me...

Folders are not cloned into Business Application Studio

I tried to clone a project from GitHub to Business Application Studio, Project is showing up in the workspace but I didn't see any folders. I tried to see if there is a feature branch for that project, but it is not showing up, when I clicked on main on the left side bottom sesction.

Any leads on how can I resolve this?

Dear Everyone,

I'm encountering an issue while integrating the ODATA Service from the S4 HANA Public Edition API Endpoint into my SAP Fiori Application. Despite entering the correct credentials, I'm facing a password error upon connection. Here's what happened during my attempts:

1st Atttempt - I used the URL below and received a 400 status code error, indicating a bad request:

How to connect database between SAP Business Application Studio and SAP HANA Cloud

Dear Experts,

I would like to know how to show all schemas on my SAP HANA Database Explorer in SaP Business Application Studio.

When I use SAP HANA Cloud in the Cloud Foundry spaces, it shows all schemas that I created before, but when I attempt to use SAP Business App Studio, it won't show all schemas except one whose name is the same as the Database user's.

For example, my database admin account is DBADMIN; the SAP business app studio only shows DBADMIN.

My HANA Cloud plan used Hana-free and didn't deploy the Hana data lake.

Cannot select destination for live data run configuration

I have an issue in the step "Previewing Your Application" of the learning journey "Developing Full-Stack Applications Using Productivity Tools in SAP Business Application Studio".

In the step to create a run configuration using live data from an external service, I can not select the destination I've created earlier.

In the step where I added the external service, the destination is visible.

Any suggestions what I could have missed in a previous step or is this an outdated instruction in the learning journey?

CAP Export language independent / technical values

Hello,

I'm working on a CAP application where I have a table with some rules. Some of the values in the columns are not language dependent, but some of them get translated using an i18n file. There is a column "language" where English, for example, gets translated to Englisch in German and so on.
For the sake of importing those values in this application, i need to have some type of universal export.
Is there a possibility to have the export always be based on the database technical values or to force the export to always be in a specific language, or maybe something similar?

I'm experiencing problems in BAS when deploying a Fiori app to Public cloud development tenant. It is giving me an authentication error even though I'm using right username and password. I have not configured username and password anywhere but destination I am using. I get the same error when entering username and password manually. Any idea what is wrong?

My app (on cloud )is enabled for key user adaptation ( by setting FlexEnabled to 'true' in the manifest. json) using BAS.

And my user has role - FlexKeyUser.

But I still do not see the Adapt UI option for my app.

what am I missing ?

We have a requirement to build a knowledge base widget and use it on an SAP UI5 Application. Made the required changes as per the documentation link.

However, we encountered a couple of issues that are hindering the completion of the integration process. Here are the details of the issues:

CORS Issue:

The application is deployed on the SAP BTP HTML Repository. while generating a single-use token, we encountered a CORS issue despite configuring the deployed HTML application in SAP BTP trusted domains. The error message indicates that it is a CORS error. Please suggest where changes are needed to resolve the CORS issue.

I have a requirement where I have defined a custom action on an Entity(Material) and on that action I am showing a pop up with value help. After selection of value help and execution of action I need the Selected Items from the Material table on which this action is defined.
