Moderators Question - about Partner Edge Product Links and Product Placement

Hi SCN Moderators Community,

please would you help me, I am very interested in the SAP Customer's Business value side and SAP Customer's Technical implementation side of Enterprise Blockchain.

Two months ago I began what is planned to be a long journey of bringing SAP and Enterprise Blockchain deep dive blogs to the SCN Community with the goal of stimulating interest and engagement and discussion on this very useful and interesting technology.

There is so much to the technology and it is so misunderstood I have an ambition to make all of it easy to understand so that my fellow SAP Experts can have a head start on understanding the technology, the business value and most important how to do it in their SAP installations. This was the first blog, https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-members/why-i-love-sap-and-blockchain-databases-and-why-you-should-too/ba-p/13625869 the current one, the ninth one in the journey is awaiting Moderation Approval due to doubts in links in the content, and the 10th blog is in preparation for publishing.

Before I started blogging, I put the following question in the SCN PartnerEdge Community:

Nobody ever responded to my question.

And now, as I continue this long journey of elaborating on the technology and use cases I seem to be running in to breaching the rules of Moderation of SCN with links in my blogs.

Obviously, I would like to post comfortably and within the rules and without friction, and hence the question, would somebody please respond to my question in the SCN Partner Edge Community and help to make it clear and transparent for Partner Edge Partners as to what is allowed and what is not. Overall budget exceeded error VS Annual budget exceeded error

We were just upgraded to S4 on January 1st this year. When we tried to post invoices with SAP function module BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE, sometimes we got the expense exceeded the budget errors. My question is that why sometimes we got the "overall budget exceeded" error and sometimes we got the "annual budget exceeded" errors. What attributes make S4 to check the expense against the overall budget instead of annual budget? Is there a flag in the imported parameters of BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE can make S4 to check the expense against the annual budget instead of overall budget? Thank you in advance for your help!

Table FIWTIN_ACC_EXEM is not updating in T code MRKO.

Hope You are doing well!

While doing Consignment invoicing in T code MRKO, the withholding tax base amount is not updating in Table FIWTIN_ACC_EXEM. Same issue i have raised to SAP, but there is no localization in T code MRKO. Can anyone suggest how can we achieve the solution or do we need any enhancement/Implicitly or Development.

Your suggestion will be appreciated.

How to link two P ID which itself a UID

Hi Export,

I am stuck while linking my two P IDs with Universal ID. Both of my P IDs are already separately registered as a Universal ID.

In details.

I have a personal email (P ID) which is registered as a Universal ID (UID). This already has a few valid certifications.

SAP Universal ID

I have an office email ID (P ID) which is registered as a Universal ID (UID). I am planning to give certification from this ID.

Now when I am trying to link above one account with another account. It's showing an error that your ID is already mapped with another UID.

Please advise me on how to solve this issue.

[BUG] Notification feed, doubles when multiple followed tags assigned

Just noticed that in the notification feed, when a question has been given multiple tags that I follow, the notification comes on multiple times:

Please note that only one question was posted. It was assigned the SQL and Microsoft SQL Server tags, both of which I follow.

Hi Experts,

i have a 9 stock for one material in quality inspection. it is posted with the movement type 703 in MI07.

now i want to remove the stock completely, i don't want them in our accounting stock because it is not physically present.

Negative Deduction config changes not impacting on existing Quota record

Hello Experts,

I need your help!!!

My business requirement it to change Negative deduction field of Annual Quota to -10 days from V_T559L so that Employee can apply for leaves till negative quota balance -10 days.
I did the change to Neg Ded to field in V_T559L to -10 days effective from 01.06.2024, by delimiting the previous record.

While testing the scenarios I noticed that -

1. For new hires/next year, it is working fine. I can see -10 days negative deduction in IT2006.

2. For existing employees (for which Annual quota record was already available with previous config of 0 negative deduction in this year 2024), negative deduction -10 days is NOT coming in existing record.

I cannot delete IT2006 annual quota record of all employees as leaves are already taken in this year. Also, cannot change quota end date as system is not allowing.

Could you please help me to solve this? Business wants this new change to be replicated from 01.06.2024 only.

Table Header Cell coloring in sap.ui.table

Hello All

Our UI5 version is 1.71.55

The requirement is to color the cell of headers. We have multi headers (2 headers). For 1st level header, need to color the cell with different colors. Tried with different options and still color is not reflecting.

Gave class name directly in Label; but only Label background changes but not the complete cell.

Tried with Vertical Layout option; but again it's full-cell coloring didn't work; also second level header was missing.

Any ideas?

Hi Experts,

Can you help me to understand the difference between Investment Mangement (IM) and Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM). In hierarchy wise both have same kind of structure i.e. IM- Program type, Structure, Planning etc. Same way EPPM also have Portfolio, Portfolio structure, Planning so on.

Please help me on Pros and Cons of both of this module. Can i choose EPPM instead of IM? or my thinking is not valid. Please give some light on this

Hello! Are you a user of SAP Analytics Cloud? Would you like to have the option to display currency signs and scales in SAP SAC charts (such as Bar Chart, Pie Chart – %, Values, and Signs)?

1H2024 Preview vs Prod New Release Universal Changes - Unilateral Application of Changes/Features

Hello all.

While performing initial validation of the Production 1H2024 New Release this morning, a discussion was initiated regarding how certain previously relayed changes have been adjusted without being disclosed in full and regression test allowances made to timelines for impact analysis.

There were several major feature changes, including permissions and universally applied functionality, which were repealed or adjusted in some fashion in comparison to what was provided in the New Release What's New Viewer following Prev implementation. Not in relation to known issues, but rather, at the behest of customers due to failure to consider impact to customers for universally leveraged changes without the opportunity for change mgmt with sys users.

We now have only 3 weeks to do complete E2E testing in all mods with various scenarios. This is running concurrently to business process owner exposure and experience sessions to provide insight into election options and new release mandatory feature impact/consideration for the processes they support.

How are we able to successfully regression test whatever has been changed before application in Prod? Is there a full list of all changes released by a certain date to all customers, or are changes being leveraged up and until Prod implementation? I am aware of patches and known issues, but these changes are to areas that were previously configured as universally mandated or their type was noted as Automatically Applied/Need to Enable. Now their status/type has changed and requires supplemental review and potential application.

The New Org Chart, for instance. It was not enabled in our Prod instance, while the New People Profile was. The best practice recommendation from SF was to enable or disable these two universally applied features in tandem. Yet, they deviated from their own best practice when implementing the Prod New Release. This is a poor practice for updates. This is only one situation encountered this morning, and I'm sure that the E2E post-Prod validation done by our HR customers in various modules will render significantly different results than previously encountered in Prev. This also inhibits successful contingency planning and upends previously communicated business process updates and user expectations. There is also the consideration of change requirement approval/awareness for highly regulated IT systems groups.

This change management approach really needs to be addressed. And soon. We will have customer system confidence impacts due to lack of conveyance, transparency, and cohesive actions at several levels. Any insight into planned improvements and recognition of this issue would be greatly appreciated so we're able to communicate this to our customers.

If the CDS views are not released then what is the procedure to use them to create reports?

We are trying to create a report in SAP S/4 HANA Public cloud using standard CDS views.

For fetching data we want to use the below CDS views -

1) ESH_N_ACCT_DOC_LINEITEM_BSEG_H

But these are not yet released and we cannot create the report. Please suggest a solution.
