enabled this checkbox when we needed the agent to be used from an outside system like SAP MII. We also differentiated the agents by two categories:<BR /><BR /></P><P><BR /><BR /></P><OL><LI>Agents will subscribe items and will send notification</LI></OL><P><BR /><BR /></P><OL><LI>Agents will only work as a connector for the MII system</LI></OL><P>&nbsp;</P><P><BR />The agents which subscribe and notifies MII are always needed to be running to keep reading the subscribed items. Whereas for the 2nd type of agents do not have any subscription item and will only listen to the port for any incoming request. So, the second type of agents does not require to run as a service always.<BR /><BR />We realized when we enable the “Run agent instance as an executable”, the service is in stopped condition but still working as desired.<BR /><BR />Example Screenshots below:<BR /><BR /></P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Rajatbiswas26_24-1749366823814.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/271249i89A16A70320FC4C7/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="Rajatbiswas26_24-1749366823814.png" alt="Rajatbiswas26_24-1749366823814.png" /></span></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><BR /><BR />&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Rajatbiswas26_25-1749366823817.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/271247iAE90DBC86569D36B/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="Rajatbiswas26_25-1749366823817.png" alt="Rajatbiswas26_25-1749366823817.png" /></span></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><BR /><BR />&nbsp;<BR /><BR />&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Rajatbiswas26_26-1749366823823.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/271248i0E3DCDB3BA6A2FA8/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="Rajatbiswas26_26-1749366823823.png" alt="Rajatbiswas26_26-1749366823823.png" /></span></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><BR /><BR />&nbsp;<BR /><BR />After categorizing the agents as above, we saw the server resource utilization decreased comparing before when we used to create the agents by disabling “Run agent instance as an executable”.</P> 2025-06-08T09:18:48.374000+02:00 https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-q-a/user-sapsr3db-does-not-exist-during-an-sap-netweaver-fresh-installation/qaq-p/14139701 User SAPSR3DB does not exist during an SAP Netweaver fresh installation 2025-06-29T16:37:57.515000+02:00 ppinto https://community.sap.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1595401 <P>Hello experts,</P><P>I'm installing SAP Netweaver 7.5 on a new windows server and I'm receiving an error "user 'SAPSR3DB' does not exist", but i think this is not usually done manually and not sure which issues that may cause.</P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="ppinto_0-1751206493261.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/280275i8E0A7658A8C8B1A5/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="ppinto_0-1751206493261.png" alt="ppinto_0-1751206493261.png" /></span></P><P>I did create SAPSR3DB manually (with authorizations CONNECT, RESOURCE, DBA, UNLIMITED TABLESPACE), but then i face another error "tablespace 'PSAPTEMP' does not exist".</P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="ppinto_1-1751206730206.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/280278i7A66F507FE7196B3/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="ppinto_1-1751206730206.png" alt="ppinto_1-1751206730206.png" /></span></P><P>Guess i'm not supposed to create such database objects manually so i'm beginning to think that something is wrong with this installation, although i'm not understanding what.
