Is it possible to use the login information of SAP Start to the MDK apps in it?

Hi, I will explain our situation.

We have a SAP Start menu configured with two MDK applications natively installed on the mobile phone. Both applications individually contain an initial screen where you login to BTP. The case is that to practical facts the use of the architecture that we have proposed is so uncomfortable. Since when the user wants to go jumping between applications it is asking for the login constantly.

We have thought that a possible solution would be that the apps would use the login already done previously when accessing SAP Start, would this be possible?

Is there a better way to connect MDK apps to the SAP Start menu, any way to deploy them there without having to embed the app inside SAP Start itself?

SAP Build Workzone Notifications: HTTP 500 - Failed to create notification

Hi all

I am trying to create user notifications on my Launchpad site one SAP Build Workzone (standard edition).

I've used these guides to generate the notification endpoint, credentials, destination & template.

When trying to create a notification I get a HTTP 500:

Hii Experts :

All the content is on my SAP BTP, Build Work Zone launchpad from S4HANA Cloud came, but when i am opening this sap standard apps it opening in disable mode i mean i am not able to click on the application in anywhere,

and i have setup all the destinations and all. This is the Application opening in disabled mode, and its giving me this error in my console

SAP Build - problems with Barcode Scanning in SAP Mobile Start & application previews

Hi,

We have a BTP sandbox subaccount with a free plan SAP Build Apps subscription. We were able to build and deploy our barcode scanning app as MTAR build, and now the application is available in the context explorer of SAP Work Zone, standard edition (also free plan). As a Launchpad Admin I was able to properly configure application tile, and it's accessible in out demo Launchpad site.

Application is fully functional in Web preview in SAP Build Apps.

A couple of problems we faced:

1. When running the application in SAP Mobile Start, the barcode scanner is not working. We receive 'Platform is not supported' error code. We're using core, standard component for scanning. Is it because 'Web is currently not supported' as mentioned in Info pane for Scan QR/barcode component? Are there any workarounds or plans to make it available in SAP Mobile Start too?

2. The app is working with in Work Zone standard, while accessing via SAP Mobile Start, but it can't be loaded when accessing the Lunchpad Site on desktop via browser. We get 'We can't seem to find the site that you're looking for. Either the site doesn't exist or it's temporarily unavailable.' message page, and app is not loaded at all. It's very strange it's complaining about a Site, which seems to be fine. We also have other Tiles coming from Process Automation, and they're working perfectly. The URL for Build App is '*hana.ondemand.com/site/sandboxdemosite#ag<app_number>-open?sap-ui-app-id-hint=saas_approuter_ag<app_number>' and same site URI is used for other apps ('/site/sandboxdemosite'). What could be the issue?

3. We struggle with app Mobile Preview, as REST API requests (based on destinations) are not working in the preview App on mobile device. It's the same for OData. Are the any plans to make it fixes with next versions?

SAP Mobile Start (Android) - No Apps Yet

Hi Team,

I have built a custom application with scanning functionality using SAP Build Apps and deployed to Cloud Foundry. Then using the HTML5 application URL, configured a new App in SAP Build Workzone Std. Edition. The app works fine when launched through Build Workzone.

I then downloaded SAP Mobile Start on my phone and register using the QR Code from SAP Build Workzone. When I open Mobile Start, I dont see the custom app instead I get a message 'No Apps Yet. Once your administrator assigns apps to you, you'll see them here'.

Not sure what I am missing here as the app works fine in SAP Build Workzone. Any pointers will be really helpful as we have a customer Demo next week.

Users getting signed out from SAP Mobile Start

Hello experts,

Our company uses SAP Mobile Start for providing Build Zone Fiori Apps to our users.

Users scan the QR Code from the launchpad site to log in successfully using MFA (AzureAD).

But, after some time, users (Andriod and IOS) are signed out. Users get frustrated because they have to go through the hassle of finding the QR Code, scanning it, logging in again, and a few days later, they are signed out again.

What causes users to be signed out from SAP Mobile Start? A setting on their device perhaps? Is it a bug?

Has anyone else in the community experienced this issue?

Permission Denied on SAP Mobile App(iOS) Version: 1.11.23

Hello SAP Community.
I have followed and set up secured connectivity from the SAP Business One mobile app to B1if by Setup_Secured_Connectivity_to_SAP_Business_One_Mobile_App.pdf.

I installed B1if (Version 2.0.27) and deployed CA (vendor) to B1if.On test connectivity from Android to B1if is ok, but I have an issue with the iOS (Version 1.11.23): Permission Denied.

Hi,

Can any one point out where to get the information for "SAP Mobile Start" commercial model ? There are articles which tells its included in RISE with SAP contract. Customers who are not on RISE and already had S4 HANA, SAP BTP etc-if they want to use this then how do we estimate the cost for using the new native application for accessing mobile apps ?

to enable sap mobile start app for approving tasks .

i have followed the below blog for all configuartion :

but no attachment available however when i open myinbox fiori app all attachment displayed fine

when i trace the web page during display attachment it show me the below error messege :

I have configured Sap Task Center with S4hana onpremis successfully and all tasks retrived on task center web app , but i have an issue related to sap mobile start app when Display the PO Approval Tasks it only display one or two items from the list of items added in thePO as shown on the attached ,

i tried search task center Blogs and mobile start Articles to check the issue with no luck to find a solution , Any Help i will appreciate .

Launching an application built with SAP Mobile Services directly through SAP Mobile Start

Hi all,

I created an application using SAP Mobile Services (and hence, a MDK project in SAP Business Application Studio), deployed it, and linked it to SAP Mobile Start through SAP Build Work Zone. However, when I try launching the app from SAP Mobile Start (which is this application:

I get redirected to the SAP Mobile Services Client application (this one:

which needs to be installed and correctly configured on my mobile phone, including the scanning of the Mobile Services application's QR Code:

This is very unconvenient since, in case I had two different Mobile Services application linked to SAP Mobile Start, that would perhaps mean that I'd need to scan a different QR Code every time I'd try accessing one app or the other. And even with one application, if I need to authenticate myself on two different SAP services for accessing a single app, this results in a very bad user experience.

Is there a way to launch a Mobile Services application directly inside SAP Mobile Start, and bypass the authentication on SAP Mobile Services Client?
