When I try to extract data from S4HANA using 0CO_PC_ACT_02 using ABAP code in the FISCPER selection (current period), after getting some data, the dataload job ends with an error in the source system message. I see only msg below, nothing more.

Error while extracting data: DataSource 0CO_PC_ACT_02, package 000000

Message no. RODPS_SAPI009

Please advise me how I can proceed here, as it is essential for us. Thank you.

Unable to replicate data from BW 7.5 DSO to Datasphere

Hi,

We have a requirement to replicate a specific set of data from BW 7.5 (On-Premise) to SAP Datasphere. We have the connection to BW setup via the cloud connector but we cannot see any of the DSOs when creating a dataflow. The client does not intend to have DPA or BW Bridge.

How can we replicate the data directly to Datasphere (without migration to BW Bridge or use of DPA)? The record counts to be replicated can be in excess of 100M records

SAP Fiori Elements Funktion Import Copy Row

I have a Fiori Elements app with a list report page and an object page. When I click the Copy one Row button on the list report page, a new row with the same values as the selected row is created. I am then automatically redirected to the object page, where I can edit the data in the new row. However, when I click Cancel, the new row is still displayed in the list even though I have not saved the data. How can I prevent this behavior?

Process chain cannot be activated, deleted, executed

Hi experts,

We have a process chain, similar to other ones and not modified in QUAL environment for last 2 years.

When executed through metachain, it appeared as yellow in process monitoring, but never triggered actually. In table RSPC_PROCESS_LOG, it appeared with blank status.

We tried to execute end of previous process, run via SM37 FM API chain start, activate again, transport it again from DEV system.

But every action failed and got out of time. Even trying to delete it from QUAL system got a TIMEOUT dump.

What can we do ?

OData Service: “No system alias found for service” after transport to QA – why is “LOCAL” missing?

Hi everyone,

I’ve created an OData service that reads data from a custom table and provides PDF downloads. Everything is fully implemented and working in our development system (DEV). The service also runs fine in the Gateway Client (/IWFND/GW_CLIENT).

After transporting it to QA, I’m getting the following error in the Gateway Client:

500 – No system alias found for service

When I checked the service in QA via /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE, I noticed that there is no system alias “LOCAL” defined at all.

This confused me because in DEV the service is assigned to the alias “LOCAL”, but in QA it doesn’t exist.

What also makes it strange:

Other OData services in QA and PROD are working fine—even though they also don’t have any system alias assigned. So the system somehow works without explicitly having “LOCAL” configured.

My questions:

Why does “LOCAL” exist in DEV but not in QA/PROD?

Shouldn’t this be consistent?

How is it possible that other OData services work without any system alias at all?

Is the system using some kind of implicit local alias?

What is the correct way to fix this issue for my new OData service?

Do I need to create the alias manually in QA, or is there a better approach?

How can I make sure that existing productive OData services won’t be affected by this configuration?

Hi everyone,

I am encountering a dump in DBACOCKPIT when trying to access Backup and Recovery -> Database Dump History.

Error Details:

Exception: CX_DBA_PARSE_ERROR
Class: CL_SYB_DBMS_UTILS
Method: CAST_FMT_TSTAMP_TO_DB6TSTAMP
Message: Unable to parse date/time.

System Environment:

SAP Kernel: 754 Patch 628 (64-bit Unicode)
DB Client Library: Sybase ASE 16.0.04.07
OS: SLES 15

What I have checked so far:

OS Locales: The environment variables for sidadm and sybsid are set to en_US.UTF-8.
https://me.sap.com/notes/2780872/E: I found this Note which describes the exact issue, but it only references older SAP Notes (for Basis 7.40) and does not provide specific correction instructions for Basis 754.
Note 1558958: This collection note also seems to target older releases.

It seems like the ABAP parser cannot handle the date/time format returned by the ASE 16.0.04.07 engine.

Does anyone know the specific Correction Collection Note for SAP_BASIS 754 that addresses this timestamp parsing issue? Or is there a specific DB parameter/locale setting within ASE that could force a compatible date format?

Hello, we have question about ADS usage:

Exists 2 independent ADS servers SID1 and SID2 (not one SID with CI+AS). We want to balance incomming load (and have some server redundancy) via webdispatcher (kernel 7.54) and parameter "wdisp/system_conflict_resolution=ROUND_ROBIN". This parameter exists as valid in documentation https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_NETWEAVER_AS_ABAP_752/683d6a1797a34730a6e005d1e8de6f22/b0ebfa88e9164d26bdf1d21a7ef6fc25.html?locale=en-US with remark "Keep in mind that then all requests must be stateless.". Is not clear if ADS requests are stateless or not (My feeling is - should be). Can you answer this question?

Updated to Java 1.8.0_481 and the Regulation field in EHS incidents are coming up "No Regulations Detected"

Did the Java update break the system when it checks these entries against the regulations defined in Customizing? If the entries match, the regulations for this incident are displayed. If the entries do not match, “No regulations detected” is displayed.

Entries have valid regulations that apply to the incidents based on the plant, location, region, and country. How can we fix this?

SPAU cannot change status Partly obsolete, completely implemented, has to be confirmed

Dear Colleagues,

I have next situations:

During the upgrade QAS system we used SPDD/SPAU requests from DEV system.

As result, after upgrade we can see minimum delta in SPAU (between DEV-QA), but one of SAP note is cannot be confirmed/adjusted. It has status "Partly obsolete, completely implemented, has to be confirmed".

When I choose option "Confirm partly obsolete SAP Note" and press Execute then message "Action successfully completed" appears, but status of sapnote does not change (still partly obsolete):

I checked via SNOTE, it looks OK, sapnote "Completely implemented", new version downloaded.

I don't know what to do, should I ignore it?
