In CPI, however, we consistently receive an HTTP 400 error from the target system.</P><P>The error message in the CPI log is:</P><pre class="lia-code-sample language-markup"><code>org.apache.camel.component.ahc.AhcOperationFailedException:
HTTP operation failed invoking https://api.evatr.vies.bzst.de/app/v1/abfrage with statusCode: 400</code></pre><P> The response body from the server is an HTML error page:</P><pre class="lia-code-sample language-markup"><code><html>
<head>
<base href="/error_path/">

<p>The server detected a syntax error in your request.<br>

<p>Your request ID was: aSW1_biQek9iXbaem_MTxwAABZY</p>
</body>
</html></code></pre><P>In the meantime, we have tested quite a lot of variations. We tried many different header combinations, including explicitly setting headers like Content-Type, Accept, Host, and Content-Length, and we experimented with the “Allowed / Request Headers” setting of the HTTP Receiver adapter (including using *). None of these attempts changed the behavior – CPI still only seems to forward a very small set of headers, and additional headers set via a Content Modifier often do not appear in the actual outbound call (according to the HTTP_Receiver_Adapter_Request_Headers attachment).</P><P>We also experimented with the payload itself: different JSON formats, slightly modified test payloads, sending the exact same body as Postman, and even building a minimal iFlow where the JSON body is hard-coded in a Content Modifier and sent directly to the HTTP receiver. The result is always the same 400 response from the BZSt service, so it does not appear to be a simple syntax issue in the JSON itself.</P><P>What could be the reason for this behavior, and does anyone know how to resolve it or what else we should check?</P><P>Here is how the iFlow is built and the error messages:<BR /><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Content_Modifer_Header.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345103i8C209A460EDBF0E2/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="Content_Modifer_Header.png" alt="Content_Modifer_Header.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Content_Modifier_Body.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345102i106DD7D462475B6B/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="Content_Modifier_Body.png" alt="Content_Modifier_Body.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="HTTP_Receiver_Adapter_Request_Headers.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345105i4E08DA13E655E620/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="HTTP_Receiver_Adapter_Request_Headers.png" alt="HTTP_Receiver_Adapter_Request_Headers.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="HTTP_Reciever_Adapter.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345104i1162C6D1758DB5B6/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="HTTP_Reciever_Adapter.png" alt="HTTP_Reciever_Adapter.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="IFlow.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345106iB33857719FBF599F/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="IFlow.png" alt="IFlow.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Isolated_Test_IFlow.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345107i05F4ACA57A83F241/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="Isolated_Test_IFlow.png" alt="Isolated_Test_IFlow.png" /></span><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Trace_Payload.png" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://community.sap.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/345108i2D7C78CD3C110990/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400" role="button" title="Trace_Payload.png" alt="Trace_Payload.png" /></span></P>2025-11-25T16:51:12.973000+01:00https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-q-a/sap-po-empty-request-payload-rest-to-rfc/qaq-p/14288546SAP PO: Empty Request Payload (REST to RFC)2025-12-11T09:30:39.719000+01:00SilentConnectorhttps://community.sap.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1475740<P>Hi,<BR /><BR />There is a requirement to send the request based from URL query params and map it to the target field via UDF, this is already working however I don't see any way to send empty payload as it is still looking for the source payload in Dummy Message Type even if it's not mapped to the target. There are around 100 interfaces involved(Adapters - RFC/IDoc/Proxy) which will be impacted and we need to consider the changes in SAP PO.</P><P>Approach 1 --> Create new Technical System and New Business system(For S4 HANA RISE) in SLD and create all new interfaces from scratch without touching the current set-up. This may take more time and involve a lot of end to end testing.</P><P>Approach 2 --> Create new Technical System (For S4 HANA RISE) and Point to the existing Business System(which was pointing previously to SAP ECC). In this case development work will be saved and less time will be involved.</P><P>Is there a possibility on the Approach 2, anyone worked before and suggest if this will work or not? Do we need to consider some point, which I am missing.</P><P>Thanks.</P><P>Best Regards,</P><P>Nidhi Srivastava</P>2026-01-08T18:42:57.602000+01:00https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-q-a/odata-calling-error-how-to-configure-resource-path-in-odata-sender-adapter/qaq-p/14306919ODATA_CALLING_ERROR: How to configure Resource Path in OData Sender Adapter2026-01-13T20:08:21.313000+01:00Sakshi22https://community.sap.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1867830<P>Hi All,</P><P>We are working on an <STRONG>OData to JDBC integration</STRONG> where we are trying to fetch <STRONG>IDoc status information from SAP</STRONG> and update it on the client side.</P><P>This is a CDS view with parameters exposed as ODATA which we are trying to consume from ODATA Sender channel.<BR />We have created an <STRONG>HTTP Destination</STRONG> as shown below:</P><P><STRONG>Destination Name:</STRONG> ZCAD_I_IDOC_STATUS<BR /><STRONG>URL:</STRONG><BR /><A href="https://agvdwdci01.corp.mooginc.com/sap/opu/odata/sap/ZCAD_I_IDOC_STATUS_CDS?sap-client=250&sap-language=EN" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer">https://agvdwdci01.corp.mooginc.com/sap/opu/odata/sap/ZCAD_I_IDOC_STATUS_CDS?sap-client=250&sap-language=EN</A></P><P><STRONG>Resource Path : </STRONG>ZCAD_I_IDOC_STATUS(p_days=7)/Set<STRONG><BR />OData Sender Adapter </STRONG>and <STRONG>OData structure snapshots</STRONG> are attached for reference.</P><P>However, we are encountering the following error in the PO channel:</P><P><STRONG>ODATA_CALLING_ERROR: OData call failed<BR /><SPAN>404 : NOT_FOUND [ZCAD_I_IDOC_STATUS(p_days=7)/Set]</SPAN><BR /></STRONG></P><P>The same destination works correctly when tested directly in the browser as well as via Postman.</P><P>Could someone please advise what the <STRONG>correct Resource Path</STRONG> should be in the <STRONG>OData channel configuration</STRONG> to make this work successfully?</P><P>Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.</P><P>Thank you in advance.</P>2026-01-13T20:08:21.313000+01:00https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-q-a/sap-po-bpm-error/qaq-p/14319591SAP PO - BPM error2026-02-02T09:41:21.976000+01:00kavitharani_kalaivananc506d1https://community.sap.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2278306<P><SPAN>Price Tolerance is completed but has not reflected in Finance, even though it was already approved.
