Information about GL status in RC dashboard

Dear RC experts, In the past, the Readiness Check Dashboard for Finance informed the current status of the GL. 1) General Ledger status: New GL or Classic GL, 2) Parallel Accounting: Accounts Approach or Ledger Approach.

Question: In the current RC Dashboard, is the GL status informed? If not, where can I find this information?

S/4 Upgrade - Readiness Check and ATC/Custom Code

Hi,

We have 4 tier S/4 2020 landscape Dev-QA-Staging-Prod which we are planning to upgrade to 2022 FPS2.

We don't have any plan to have a project landscape for this upgrade, so BAU urgent break fixes needs to be taken care in the same landscape during Realise phase.

Couple of questions I have on Readiness Check and ATC/Custom Code Migration.

1. Should we run Readiness Check on all systems including Production before upgrading each to get insight of each system in the landscape as systems could be out of sync.

2. Is it advisable to run upgrade like this and continue with urgent break fixes during Realise phase when non-prod are upgraded but Production is yet to.

3. We don't have dedicated ATC Central system, so from SAP note "2436688 - Recommended SAP Notes for using S/4HANA custom code checks in ATC or Custom Code Migration app" which file we should import in our development system - Central or Checked System or both ?

4. In our production system usage data is not collected yet, so is it possible to collect the past data from one year or so in SCMON/SUSG , if not then we would have very limited data for actual scoping.

Hi, I am trying to ATC schedule run using SAP Tcode ATC for the newly released S4HANA Version 2023 from ATC system. I couldn't find variant for S4HANA_READINESS_2023. May I know the way to add those variants.

Check impact on BW/4 upgrade

Hi all,

I have BW/4 2.0 SP11 on HANA 2.0 SP6 rev63 and we are planning an upgrade to BW/4 2023 (released estimate for Q4/2023) on HANA 2.0 SP7 last revision. SAP readiness check is not available for BW/4 upgrade. Are there a report to evaluate eventually impact of BW/4 upgrade?

Do you have any suggestion of this topic?

Whilst running the standard Readiness Check Process for Data Quality - we experienced a table space issue causing the job to fall over. We have been able to rerun the Financial Data Quality for the required Financial Years manually - via Fin_Corr_Rec_Analysis job - however we are unable to generate the zip files without running the process in its entirety again. Is there a way to generate the zip files under this scenario. Thanks in advance - John

As part of the S4 preparation, we analyzed the results of the readiness check in the area of financial data quality.

Many documents are listed that are already archived. Is it normal program behavior to check archived documents? Is it even possible to make corrections to archived documents? Do you have similar experiences?

Readiness check S/4HANA 2023 - Priority 1 messages for every access to catch weight specific fields

Hi,
we are upgrading from S/4HANA 1809 to 2023 at the moment. After having upgraded our dev system to S/4HANA 2023 we had executed the readiness check with the new check variant for 2023 (S4HANA_READINESS_2023 after uploading the latest simplification DB). We're using catch weight functionality in our systems and now we've recognized, that the atc results are containing a message with priority 1 for every access to the catch weight fields (for example MARA-/CWM/XCWMAT, LIPS-/CWM/LFIME or LIPS-/CWM/PIKMG).
The message details i.e. are:
Functionality not available: no functional equivalent (TABL LIPS, see Note(s): 0002296016)
Finding can be suppressed with pseudo comment "#EC CI_USAGE_OK[2296016]
Referenced Object: LIPS (TABL)
Additional Info: DTAB - Referenced object type is a database table /LIPS-/CWM/PIKMG
Referenced Application Component: XX-SER-REL
Change Category of Piecelist Items: T (Technical)
SAP Note Number: 0002296016 (SAP S/4HANA custom code adaptation - removal of orphaned objects)
Simplification Item Category: A (Functionality not available: no functional equivalent)

I don't understand why such messages occur, cause I don't have any information about catch weight functionality is getting obsolet in S/4HANA 2023.

Are these messages false positives or is it a bug of the readiness check for S/4HANA 2023?
Is there any possibility to avoid such messages (without excluding note 2296016 as it seems to be very generic note)?

S/4HANA Readiness check does not provide quickfix in eclipse result browser

Hey there!

The main poblems seems to be that the function "Analyze Result in ATC Problems View" (right click on check run in ATC result browser, described in Semi-automatic custom code adaptation after SAP S/... - SAP Community) does not work properly.

If we click this function, we only get:

We can click on a check run result, right-click on recheck and then the check will be displayed in the ATC problems view. But only for the selected entry.

I expect that "Analyze Result in ATC Problems View" works properly.

What are we missing/ doing wrong so that the quickfixes are not available at first?

We applied the note 2568739 as well as the Zreport in the note, however when running the program in the background job mode it failed with error:

Question regarding enabling the Extended Integration Impact Analysis for SAP Readiness Check

Dear SAP,

We are working to execute SAP Readiness Check and prepare to migrate to S/4HANA.

It shows that 3061414 - Enabling extended integration impact analysis for SAP Readiness Check can not be installed on our system. Is there a workaround to import this note?

BW HANA Sizing - Results interpretation /SDF/HANA_BW_SIZING

How should the results of the report /SDF/HANA_BW_SIZING be interpreted? is the recommended physical memory per node the final "HANA DB size" also displayed in the Readiness check report? It is very confusing as the sum of the memory 838 GB + data 1271 GB + log 512 GB disk size, is not equal to the recommended physical memory per node (1536 GB).
