How to generate the metadata file of a SFSF datacenter with SHA256?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to configure SINGLE SIGN ON (SSO) between succesfactors and workforce software, for that I need to download the metadata file. I do it through the structure of the following URL

https://<<Datacenter>>/idp/samlmetadata?company=<<CompanyId>>;

The problem is that it doesn't work for me because apparently SFSF made an update and this certificate must already be generated with a SHA 256 key. Does anyone know how I can do it? Should I add some parameter to the link structure?

I am working on a login where I need your help.

Requirement: I want to filter out Employee record whose Contract_Type=Vendor and want to pass another employee record whose Contract_Type = Permanent (Contract_Type is maintained as Property = Vendor)

Now the catch is 1st Employee has two Contract where we can use contract whose end date is not defined.

KINDLY HELP ME WITH FILTER LOGIC TO ACHIVE THE OUTPUT AS EMPLOYEE WITH CONTRACT_TYPE=PERMANENT.

Worker type in Manage Workforce

Hi,

In the workforce app, we see two worker types BUP003 (employee) and BBP005 (Contingent worker). Is there a way to create more worker types? We need a kind of a hybrid worker type.

Internal employees
Employee with a different payment agreement. They are not contingent workers.
Contingent worker

We need this to differentiate pure internal employees from other types of employees.

We do not have Success Factors Employee Central or other HR systems in scope. We are implementing professional services with intercompany processes. Is it possible to define a holiday calendar per company code so that the timesheet shows holidays of an employee?

How to Mass Import Worker Data for Concurrent Employment?

I need to create a lot of employee and some employes has Concurrent Employment, but I do not found a template that have the field "employement situation" to insert the option "Concurrent Employment" in app F6097 - Manage Wokforce.

When I use the template "Templ_WorkAgreement_Semicolon" and try insert more than one cost center for the one employe the system show the error: "The dates for the Job Details entity shouldn't overlap"

Replicate Basic Master Data for Workforce from External HR Systems (add address fields)

By using API (SAP_COM_0301 -> Replicate Basic Master Data for Workforce from External HR Systems ) it is possible to create Employee and Business partner.

It does not seem possible, however, to save Address details due to which address details not sync to Maintain Business Partner app.

How to overcome this limitation?

Worker ID assigned to a give employee is incorrect. However it is not possible to edit the entry from "Manage Workforce" or "Maintain Employees". How to replace the old (incorrect) Worker ID for a new (correct) one?

In Manage Workforce app, for any given employee recently created, there seems to be an issue within "Show Change Log" option.

At first, there are a couple of existing lines when the area is reached. However, the only fields with value are "Changed by" and "Changed on". Fields such as "Field Name", "Old Value" and "New Value" appear empty.

Can this behavior be explained?

Class "CL_FS4BPU_EMPL_MINIMASTER_API" seems not to exist anymore on SAP S/4HANA 2023 (it previously existed in 2021 release).

In "Manage Workforce", is it possible to allow a user to only be able to update details about existing workers but not to be able to create a worker?

SAP logon 800 - problems in closing PPS (ZFMWA and CJ20N)

We are using SAP Logon 800, and I’ll try to explain the full situation and where we’re unsure what exactly is going wrong.

Through ZFMWA – transfer of funds, I moved part of the funds from one project to another, with the intention of clearing out the first project so we could close it.

Then, in CJ20N – Project Builder, I proceeded to close the project, which the system allowed but said there is still some money on it - its not null.

The problem appears when I try to check the project again in ZFM_PREGLED_PROJEKT – project overview in english. Even though the project was closed, it still shows up in the results.(it should not because its closed)

And the next issue is the following:

When I check the project for the year 2025, this "already closed" project appears as cleared. However, when I view it across multiple years, this is not the case (it looks like the money is still on it).

So it seems that some data is not being passed forward properly, specifically the one I entered through the ZFMWA function.

Lastly, I noticed that when I check the target project (the one that received the transferred funds), the situation is the same — in 2025 everything looks fine, but over multiple years the transfer seems to disappear.

How can i properly close the project? (if we use KB15N it does the opposite - through years it shows no money in 2025 there is money)
