Setting up non hr managed activity work centres

Hi team,

I am working on setting up activity work centres that are not managed by HR, we currently use a contracting group that is under a contract agreement tis contracting group manages around 11,000.00 Work orders annually. so setting up a PM03 line for every job is not practical.

I have seen it done before but I can not remember how to do it. the issues this is creating are listed below.work-centre-flow.png

Work orders are being costed at FTE rates
Work orders currently have incorrect hours assigned therefore incorrect cost
Work orders are not linked through the work centres to reflect cost per contract
No contractor work centres set with segregated cost
Double up on cost, work order value – MSA value with no link between to settle and contract via W/O
Maintenance plans will be inaccurate if created with incorrected costed work centres
ZBB - Short and long term budgets will be incorrect
Manning requirements will be incorrect due to insufficient allocation of hrs in work orders
Capacity planning and schedule compliance is inaccurate

SAP Workflow Exception

Hello,

I have developed an workflow for Internal Order Approval. Currently, I am facing an exception as 'Execution Interrupted' SWF_RUN having message no is 611.We have number of steps which needs to be executed by each approver based on the total number of approvers. In the current scenario, at second level of approval the approver is not able to see the attachments as it should flowed from first level approval. Also in the few scenarios, the workflow stops at the step 'Read User decision step' which calls the background class method to read the text. In any one of the level, it displays the status 'In Process' and it does not execute the step completely and the workflow get hanged in between and does not proceed further.

if we check the dump in ST22, it displays the runtime error in ABAP class CL_SWF_RUN_WIM_LOCAL in the save method.

Any probable solutions and suggestions are welcome.

Hi SAP folks,

I need a help, i have created a iFlow in CPI and using a SOAP API "Communication Scenario :SAP_COM_0301 | Replicate Basic Master Data for Workforce from External HR Systems" to import employee data from legacy system to S4HC at it is working fine but there is a issue if record is more than 400 employees or processing time is more than 5 minutes i am getting below error , is there some setting which i am missing.

"java.net.SocketException - Unexpected end of file from server"

SAP Enable Now support for WorkForce

Our organization is implementing SAP including S/4HANA (S/4), SuccessFactors (SF) and WorkForce (WF). We also have the cloud edition of SAP's Enable Now which we are using to supply all end-user training and professional development for project implementation and delivery. SEN has pre-built content to facilitate S/4 and SF, but as I understand it, WF is an SAP add-on that is not automatically supported in SEN.

1. Does SEN have any standard content that can be pulled forward for WF training purposes?

2.If not, is there a resource for WorkForce end-user training outside of SEN?

3. Web Assistant is tied to SEN to support users in S/4 and SF. Is Desktop Assistant also automatically linked? Are either of these applications linked to WF? If not, can they be and how so?

How to pass security header in SAP CPI

Hello All,

While posting a message from SAP CPI to WorkForce using SOAP receiver adapter, receiving following error message:

"org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: WSDoAllReceiver: Incoming message does not contain required Security header"

The same Interface works fine from SAP PO 7.5. As part of Interface determination we were passing Username, Password and Nonce details as parameterized mapping dynamically in PO. Option "Do not use SOAP envelope' selected in PO SOAP receiver channel.

In CPI , before SOAP receiver channel, I have added Content Modifier in which I have added 3 constants to pass Username, Password and Nonce similar to PO. But it looks like it is not considering during run time.

How can I pass these security headers during runtime in CPI?

Dear HCM - WFS Folks,

We are running HCM including payroll ECP and WFS with finance funds management

We are in situation which needs your help to take the discussion , Plz go through the following case :

We went live in Oct.2020 as HCM and WFS. but due to the differences between the output from SAP and Current legacy system and after many attempts from HR Team still there is differences, This due to the retroactive posting related to the employees in Sept. Period , The HR team create new wage type to consider this such as absence , .... the difference manly came from this wage type ..

Now we are in situation we must run the payroll in Nov.2020 by tomorrow maximum however Oct. period is not yet posted ..

Now i need your advise about the situation and about the following discussion to rectify the situation :

Cancel payroll posting for Oct. HR and FI Impact.

Delete payroll result for Oct. Month.

Start running the payroll for Nov. month as first month of go live as long as the HR fix most of the issues !

Posting of manual entries in FI for October period depending on legacy system.

Plz note that we will not touch the WFS and we will keep the data related to October month to avoid impacting the area ..

Can you plz help us to take the right discussion considering we must run the payroll for November tomorrow ..

HELLO EVERYONE, I HAVE AN INTEGRATION IN CPI THAT CONSULTS VARIOUS INFORMATION ON EMPLOYEES BUT I HAVE THE REQUIREMENT THAT EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE DOUBLE CONTRACTING ARE NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT BY THE INTEGRATION.

IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY THESE EMPLOYEES, I AM CONSULTING THE ENTITY "SecondaryAssignments" WHICH RETURNS ME A COMPLETE NODE IN THE PAYLOAD.

EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE TWO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS BRING THE SECONDARYAssignments NODE AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE ONLY ONE CONTRACT DO NOT LOAD THIS NODE.

Missing download - Workforce agreement template

With "Manage Workforce" app, we were attempting to upload Workforce data using the import functionality. When we download the template, a message is issued that all templates are downloaded. But only 1 file related to Workforce data is downloaded. Workforce Agreement data file is mandatory to us the import function and template for the same is not available in the download.

Hello All,

I am trying to approve a task using CF workflow API . While testing the approval from the API hub ( after creating an appropriate environment corresponding to my trial account), the service sends me the response "The task is already claimed by another user".I am able to create and get a list of workflow instances/user tasks etc. using the same environment.

There is only one user who has ever been assigned to this task and that is me . Approval works fine via My Inbox .

Can someone please suggest what could be wrong? The following are part of the payload JSON

Hello everyone, I'm trying to configure SINGLE SIGN ON (SSO) between succesfactors and workforce software, for that I need to download the metadata file. I do it through the structure of the following URL

https://<<Datacenter>>/idp/samlmetadata?company=<<CompanyId>>;

The problem is that it doesn't work for me because apparently SFSF made an update and this certificate must already be generated with a SHA 256 key. Does anyone know how I can do it? Should I add some parameter to the link structure?

Requirement: I want to filter out Employee record whose Contract_Type=Vendor and want to pass another employee record whose Contract_Type = Permanent (Contract_Type is maintained as Property = Vendor)

Now the catch is 1st Employee has two Contract where we can use contract whose end date is not defined.

Worker type in Manage Workforce

Hi,

In the workforce app, we see two worker types BUP003 (employee) and BBP005 (Contingent worker). Is there a way to create more worker types? We need a kind of a hybrid worker type.

Internal employees
Employee with a different payment agreement. They are not contingent workers.
Contingent worker

We need this to differentiate pure internal employees from other types of employees.

We do not have Success Factors Employee Central or other HR systems in scope. We are implementing professional services with intercompany processes. Is it possible to define a holiday calendar per company code so that the timesheet shows holidays of an employee?
