SAP system Installation on Oracle database with SWPM in unattended mode

Hello Guys,

I am trying to perform a silent SAP install on Oracle DB.

Per OSS note 2506859, have tried updating redo logs in input file to get created under +OLOG/+RECO ASM diskgroups.

However, the installation still creates the online redo logs under +DATA which is the default ASM diskgroup.

# Oracle mirrlog drive.

ora.mirrlogDrive =

# Oracle origlog drive. ora.origlogDrive =

Has anyone come across this error before?

SAPCAR and it's version numbering

Hello,

i have downloaded today the latest version of SAPCAR for Linux. Which is SAPCAR_1115-70006178.EXE

In my software folder, i have a lot of different versions of SAPCAR from some years ago, and there i have a version from August 2020 which is
SAPCAR_1320-80000935.EXE

So, why is the actual version lower then the version some years ago? Can someone explain me the versioning logic?

How to Obtain Objects from other Systems / Repair damaged ones?

Hello,

i have the Problem that a SUM run stops with an error, that is triggered by an broken or corrupted RASUVAR1.

The proposed solution is to put all affected Objects (SAPLASU5, LASU5U01, FASU_HANDLE_REPORT_RFC, FASU_START, FASU_FINISH) into a transport and import it into the problematic System.

The biggest Problem i have is, that this requires a System on the same release Level as my System has when starting the SUM (1909 SP01), that is the "organ Donor" if you will

would there be other solutions in order to Repair Broken objects, that do not require other Systems to do so?

and even if i had a System, how would i proceed? Create a transport, put all the Objects in, release it and then Copy the Co and Data files from one System to another?

Dear Experts & Friends,

We have upgraded our support pack from SP12 to SP26.

But in system, it is showing SP22.

In my opinion, it should be,0026 no ?

The url composed of "Account Short Name", "SSL Host" and other region information.

I wonder how to find my integration suite production url to customize cpi logs.

1 Do we need to buy a distributors license for re-distribution?

2 What Crystal software would we need to install on the end users PC's other than the RPT files themselves?

SM20 Audit logs not displaying for 6 months

SM20 audit logs whenever I want to have the data of 6 months it's not showing full data for 6 months.
Before it was showing only one day data, So we tried with new profile and activated it now its showing the data from which we have activated the new profile not the previous data.

The consultant Min has already provided a reply to me, but still have a question need to be confirmed. Attached the details.

At the end of the reply, Min described that "Document 1500000006 was posted in company code NTY". I want to know can it only be generated accounting document directly through IDOC? Can it be generated invoice document firstly just like executing MIRO invoice verification?

We are currently doing an SLP implementation using Ariba CIG.

In the configuration, we have to activate a few Business Functions (SFW5) to be able to use the transaction code (DRFOUT and DRFIMG).

However, we would like to know what's the best practice and the difference between

1. Activating the Business Functions in DEV / QA / PROD manually

2. Transport the activated business functions from DEV system to next system

Hello,

I plan to use the unattended mode of SWPM to install SAP Solution Manager 7.2.

I have a question regarding the installation process

Can I install an up-to-date system by using a stack.xml file generated by the Maintenance Planner to install the latest Support Package Stack? If this is possible, how can it be achieved? Do I simply need to include the SAPINST_STACK_XML option during the execution of SWPM, and will SWPM automatically invoke the SUM during the installation process?

We are working on doing client copy from production to Dev. Following Client Export and import methodology.

During the Prod export process, we have encountered the following error in the log file:
