Seeking your insights and suggestions please. Currently our client who has 2 businesses, 1 will be sold for the next 3 months temporarily, SAP architecture will be the same. What would be the requirements, restrictions, compliance to ensure that the sold business cannot access the other. In terms of the organizational level, all of the areas are restricted except for the business area, will this cause of risks? or can we stay it the same?

If you are using it what are some of the benefits you have found? If you are not using it, how are you collecting the I-9 today, at what point in the process, and do you have an integration to another system with this information?

Issue with User Visibility in People Picker on Manage Flexible Workflow Application

Hello SAP Community,

We are currently in the process of configuring a workflow within the Manage Flexible Workflow application. However, we are encountering an issue where no users are visible in the People Picker field. Despite ensuring that all required prerequisites as per the KBA mentioned below have been met, we are still unable to see any users listed.

0002824240 - No users available in People picker of Manage workflow application

0002869055 - No users available in Manage Workflows app - SAP S/4HANA

We have followed the standard setup guidelines and checked the user assignments, but the problem persists. Could anyone from the community suggest what could be causing this issue or any troubleshooting steps we might have missed?

Can't get the value from OData v4 entity set

I created a new user and retrieved data from entity set 'BANK'. But the return value is empty even the entity set has value.

It can retrieved data from entity set 'ZCDS_ZTALCUSTOMER'

Another sap-all user can retrieve data from entity set 'BANK'..

So I doubt there is any authorization is forgotten. Do you have any idea?

User Type FW is Not Active in SAP?

User Type FW is Not Active Error

When we try to create a reference user or copy an existing user using SU01 t-code in SAP then we face the error message: User Type FW is not active in SAP.

This error comes when the user you are copying is of type FW (Workflow System User), and in your system, this user type is not yet activated or supported because the workflow configuration is incomplete.

In my case, we faced this issue specifically with user type FW but in your case the user type may be different. So it’s important to first identify your user type.

How to Check and Activate Missing User Types using USMM T-Code.

First Run the T-code USMM in the SAP GUI.
Then Click on the User Types tab.

3. Select and activate the missing user type FW or any other that's required.

4. Save your changes.

Now try to create or copy the reference user again. If the error persists feel free to reach out or comment below if I can help resolve your issue I definitely will!

Hello Experts,
i have the following issue when trying to upload pages in a new starter customizing tenant.
What i wanted to do, was export custom pages from a different tenant which is part of internal system environment and import them in a new starter customizing tenant for workshops.
The system tells me that the pages cant be uploaded and this is the error message:

I think the issue is, that the system i downloaded the pages from, has german as its original language and the starter customizing system usually have english as the original language.

My question is, can i do anything to solve this ? I tried changing some language keys from "DE" to "EN" in the json file that is imported, but this only results in the same error but with the translation "English(EN)" instead of "German(DE)" (compare screenshot).
Where can i even check what the original language of the tenant is ?

SAP Public Cloud 2508 / Missing standard value in a custom user role

Hello experts,
i have the following issue. I created a user role for a finance user and now the user reports that he cant define a standard value for the "calculate tax" checkbox, which is used in apps like "create supplier invoice".

In addition to the finance catalogs the role has the catalogs from the standard SAP-Role BR_EMPLOYEE, especially the catalog for the user standardvalues (SAP_CA_BC_USER_PARAM_PC).
My question is, what am i missing ? Is there a setting or app to control these standardvalues ? Or is it only depended on the business catalogs and if so, how can i find out which catalog im missing ?

Hello all... I found an issue with the description of the App F2661 in Spanish. It appears as: "Bucar operación y lista de tareas de actualización". It should be: "Buscar..." (Buscar instead of Bucar). When you search the App by the description you cannot find it because the translation error. Please help us to solve the issue. Trank you.

Check Box vs. Switch

Hi all,

I have a general question regarding when to use a Check Box versus a Switch. According to the Fiori guidelines:

Don’t use a switch if: It’s unclear whether the control represents a state or an action. In such cases, use a checkbox instead.

The scenario I’m dealing with is a Settings panel that contains multiple options users can turn on or off. For certain settings (e.g., Translation, Loading Indicator), enabling the option immediately displays additional content in the UI. In these cases, I believe a Switch is appropriate because the change has an instant impact on the interface.

However, for other settings, enabling them does not produce any immediate UI change; the effect only becomes visible when the user navigates to another module. This raises the question:

Should we use a mix of Checkboxes and Switches based on behavior, or is there a way to unify the design by using a single control type to keep the UI consistent and clean?

AMEX Expense Itemizations

Hi SAP Community,

I need your support, maybe one of you have a similar case as mine.

I have processed several expense reports which include invoices that have expenses using the credit card AMEX.

The AMEX expenses appear automaticaly in CONCUR as available expenses and it is necessary to include them into a new expenses report.

My issue starts when I need to report these expenses due to I receive just one invoice for several AMEX expenses and I don't have the way to itemize the only invoice that I have available to add the AMEX expenses as itemizations.

I mean I cannot itemize an invoice adding expenses performed with AMEX card.

What I have done is to let these AMEX expenses as personal expenses.

Does anyone know if there is any way to itemize an invoice adding AMEX expenses as itemizations?

I will appreciate so much the support.

Roadmap Inquiry: UI5 Table Grouping Expand/Collapse for OData V4

Hi,

Our SBN team has encountered an issue during the development of the table group function for the catalog. The data volume of our catalog table will be extremely large, and we need to group the data by customer. However, there is currently no available control to support this functionality.

We would like to inquire: When does our UI5 control library plan to support the expand/collapse functionality for grouping?

The Analytical Table can fulfill the requirement, but it does not support OData V4. We will not revert to the older OData V2 protocol just to compensate for this missing frontend feature.

Meanwhile, the Tree Table is not suitable for our use case.

As a result, we currently do not have an appropriate control to support expand and collapse for group functionality.

The Fiori Elements Framework ALV supports the latest OData V4, but migrating to this solution involves cost.

Therefore, we would like to know if there is an upgrade roadmap for the UI5 Table group expand/collapse function.

Hello Experts,
i have a question about the following topic. The users in our system should use the App My Inbox to access their open Tasks that they recieve from workflows. Because of custom attributes we wanted to display in the Inbox, we decided that all users should use the App My Inbox in the Expert Mode.
The problem is, that if a user gets a notification for an open task on his homepage and then clicks on the bell and then on the task, the Task gets opened in the "normal" My Inbox App.
My question is, are we able to change the App that opens when you click on a notfication from the normal Inbox to the Inbox in the expert mode ? And if so how ?
