CLAWD MASCOT — PIXEL GEOMETRY PROVENANCE

Clawd, the pixel crab, is Anthropic's mascot for Claude Code. Anthropic and
Claude are trademarks of Anthropic PBC; this project is an unofficial fan
tribute with no affiliation or endorsement.

The crab in this project is pure CSS: box-shadow pixel art, no image file of
the mascot is redistributed anywhere.

The pixel frame data lives in crab-plugin/lib/client.js, which embeds it so the
plugin works standalone. The skin keeps only the small greeting sparkle in
claude/crab.generated.css.

The pixel geometry was derived from the SillyTavern extension "Claude Web 2.0"
by claudenoshujin (github.com/claudenoshujin/claude-web). Credit for the original pixel
artwork belongs to that author.
This project reproduces the geometry only — all selectors, keyframes, colour
mapping and placement are original to this project, and no file from that
repository is copied.

This project is likewise released freely. If you redistribute it, keep this
attribution intact.

VENDORED FONTS — SIL OPEN FONT LICENSE 1.1

This project redistributes four font binaries under claude/assets/fonts/.
They are latin-subset builds of open-source typefaces and are NOT covered by
the MIT license above. Each is licensed under the SIL Open Font License,
Version 1.1, which permits redistribution and bundling provided the fonts are
not sold by themselves and any derivative keeps the reserved font names
intact:

  - Newsreader        (newsreader-normal.woff2, newsreader-italic.woff2)
  - Inter             (inter-normal.woff2)
  - JetBrains Mono    (jetbrains-mono-normal.woff2)

Anthropic's actual typefaces, Copernicus and StyreneB, are licensed commercial
fonts. They are NOT included in this repository and MUST NOT be added to it.
This project substitutes the open-licensed Newsreader (in Copernicus's serif
role) and Inter (in StyreneB's sans-serif role) in their place.
