# LumaBloom Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026

LumaBloom does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

The extension processes video-frame colors locally in your browser to create the ambient lighting effect. Video frames and sampled colors never leave your device. LumaBloom has no backend, analytics, advertising, tracking, remote code, or user accounts.

## Data stored on your device

LumaBloom uses Chrome's `storage` permission only to remember your preferences, including whether the effect is enabled and your intensity, spread, color boost, response, and smoothing settings. You can remove this data by uninstalling the extension.

## Website access

The extension's content script runs only on `https://www.youtube.com/*` so it can add the visual effect around the active video player. It does not request access to browsing history, tabs, cookies, identity, microphone, camera, or screen capture.

## Contact
