    "notes": "Alaska Dungeness crab (Metacarcinus magister) fisheries are separate from the Bering Sea crab fisheries. SEAK Dungeness is a smaller-boat, near-shore pot fishery — NOT affected by the 2021-2023 BSAI crab crisis. SEAK Dungeness crab management is by ADF&G Southeast Region and has remained stable and productive. Prince William Sound Dungeness crab was impacted by the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill."
