# Weather MCP Server

MCP server for getting the current weather in any location using the [Open-meteo](https://open-meteo.com/) API.

## Development

Create and activate the virtual environment using [uv](https://docs.astral.sh/uv/):

```bash
uv venv
```

```bash
source .venv/bin/activate
```

Install the dependencies:

```bash
uv sync
```

Start up the MCP inspector to test the server:

```bash
mcp dev server.py
```

## Integration with Claude Desktop

To use locally within Claude Desktop, add the following to `claude_desktop_config.json`
