Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SleepRise (“SleepRise”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the SleepRise mobile application. SleepRise is a sleep and wake-up assistant. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
Information you choose to provide
SleepRise may store the alarms, labels, task settings, relaxation preferences, language choice, sleep notes and locally generated sleep-session information that you enter or create. These settings are stored on your device unless a feature explicitly says otherwise. We do not require an account to use the core alarm features.
When you use sleep analysis, the app may request microphone access. The microphone is activated only after you start the feature. The app uses the signal for the requested analysis and does not intentionally upload or retain raw audio for a user profile. When you use barcode tasks, the camera is activated only after you start scanning; the barcode value needed for the task is stored locally on the device.
Third-party services
The current SleepRise review build does not display advertising and does not request advertising identifiers. Advertising and subscription features are not enabled in this build. If these features are introduced in a later update, this policy will be revised before that update is released.
How we use information
We use local information to operate alarms, enforce task completion, render sleep insights, save your preferences and provide support when you contact us. We do not sell personal information. SleepRise does not claim to measure clinical sleep stages; estimated stages and scores are presented for wellness and routine-building purposes only.
Children
SleepRise is a general-audience wellness application. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data retention and deletion
Most SleepRise data is stored locally and can be removed by deleting alarms, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app. The current review build does not send advertising or subscription data to third-party providers. Your choices
You can disable microphone, camera and notification permissions from your device settings where supported. The current review build has no advertising or subscription purchase flow.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, third-party services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when we publish a material revision.
