### Question
I heard some scholars asking which is better: the Qur’an or 'Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon them)?

### Answer:
The Qur’an is the Speech of Allah; it was not created. 'Isa (peace be upon him) is a human being who was given birth to by Maryam bint 'Imran. Thus, the Qur’an is better.
