He achieves it by avoiding sins and the means that lead to Shirk (associating others with Allah). He must be wary of the avenues of Shirk and be wary of sins; this is part of achieving Tawheed—purifying and cleansing it from the impurities of Shirk, innovations (Bid’ah), and sins. This is its realization: to be on guard against sins, innovations, and the means to Shirk. This is what it means to achieve it. Yes.
