### Question: 

What is your opinion on Islamic Jihad and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the occupied Arab territories in Palestine?

### Answer:

As for the movement (Hamas), it will not be a victory for Islam, for it includes Shias and partisan Ikhwanis (Muslim Brotherhood members). Yasser Arafat deceived the people a great deal even though he was an agent for Israel; then, in the end, he sold out Palestine through this 'self-rule.' If Muslim governments were to leave the Muslims alone, they are the ones who would be able to cleanse Jerusalem of the Jews.

As for the Hamas group, it is a partisan group that does not enjoin what is right nor forbid what is wrong, and they denounce the People of the Sunnah (Ahl al-Sunnah). If they were to achieve victory, they would do exactly what was done in Afghanistan—turning cannons and machine guns against one another—because they are not of one heart.
