--- title: Profile Suspension eleventyNavigation: key: Profile Suspension parent: Profile Management order: 7 --- Your profile may be suspended (the **Account suspended** statement appears on your site and the various services FTP, SQL, etc. will be blocked). This may occur for a number of reasons. ## Lack of activity In the case of a **free account**, if you have not connected to your [administration interface](https://admin.alwaysdata.com) *within the last X days*, then your profile will be suspended automatically. Simply connecting to the administration interface will lift this suspension and your site and your services will become available right away. Expiry dates: - a profile created in less than a year must connect every 120 days, - a profile created between 1 and 4 years must connect every 6 months, - a profile with 4 years of age, one connection per year is required. ## Illicit content By registering with our site and therefore creating a profile, you commit to strict compliance with French law regarding digital content. Among these activities, **any proven illegal use will result in the immediate suspension or remediation of your profile**. Some examples: - sending [spam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_spam#European_Union), - any message must be sent with the **express consent** (_opt-in_) of the recipient, - using a list purchased from a third party is therefore considered to be spam, - [several questions to ask yourself before launching the emailing](/en/docs/e-mails/outgoing-e-mails/delivery/#emailing). - hosting [phishing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing) applications, - hosting counterfeit websites/applications, - attempts to hack outside systems from alwaysdata servers, - any other illegal use. ## Failure to comply with the terms of service Failure to comply with our *Terms of service* will result in a suspension of your profile. Here is a - non-exhaustive - list of restrictions for our *non-paying* customers: - making excessive requests (scrapping) from alwaysdata servers, - having multiple accounts, - pay attention to not confuse account and features (websites, domains, e-mail addresses, databases, etc.), - an account may host as many features (e.g. as many sites) as you wish, - it is also not permitted to have multiple free accounts on multiple alwaysdata profiles. - hosting resource-intensive applications (CPU, network, sending emails...), - using the free account for *commercial/lucratives goals*. E.g. it’s strictly prohibited to host company’s emails or website; to host ads that could generate incomes; to sell products on the hosted websites and mailboxes, etc. > [!NOTE] > Only the `alwaysdata.net` account address can be used to create *websites* on the Free plan. To use your own domain, it is therefore necessary to take a paid plan.
