# My Weather App

A web-based weather application that allows users to view current weather conditions for any location. Built with HTML, CSS, and Python, this project demonstrates a simple yet effective approach to integrating a Python backend with a dynamic frontend.

## Getting Started

### Prerequisites

- Python 3.x installed
- [pip](https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/) for managing Python packages

### Installation

1. **Clone the repository:**
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/alyalgendy/my-weather-app.git
   cd my-weather-app
   ```

2. **Install dependencies:**
   ```bash
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   ```

3. **Set up your API key:**
   - Register for an API key at your chosen weather API provider (e.g., OpenWeatherMap).
   - Save your API key in an environment variable or in a `.env` file if supported.

4. **Run the app:**
   ```bash
   python app.py
   ```
   The app will start on `http://localhost:5000/` by default.

## Usage

1. Open your browser and navigate to `http://localhost:5000/`.
2. Enter a city name to view the current weather conditions.
3. Explore the UI for additional weather information and features.
