# Adapter

> Adapter is a cognition API that gives AI models and agents persistent memory and a continuously-updated knowledge graph over connected data sources, returning evidence-based, cited answers. Founded by Adam Ghetti (Austin, TX), GV-backed. The company ships "Adapter Life," a consumer assistant harness reachable over iMessage/WhatsApp, on top of the Adapter primitives.
