# Aduna > Aduna is the Ericsson-led network API joint venture — a 50:50 company owned half by Ericsson and half by twelve global communications service providers (AT&T, Bharti Airtel, Deutsche Telekom, KDDI, Orange, Reliance Jio, Singtel, Telefonica, Telstra, T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone), with e& added later as an equity partner. It aggregates CAMARA-standardised mobile network APIs from many carriers into one commercial channel so developers do not have to negotiate operator by operator. Aduna's developer surface is partner-gated. adunaglobal.com describes the API catalogue in prose; docs.adunaglobal.com redirects every path to an Auth0 login wall at portal.adunaglobal.com; there is no public OpenAPI, no sandbox, no self-serve signup, no published base URL and no published pricing. Onboarding is a sales conversation: Aduna's own SDK README says "Contact Aduna Global for the onboarding procedure of an ASP Application." Developers most often reach Aduna-aggregated APIs through partner platforms (Google Cloud, Infobip, Sinch, Vonage, Microsoft Azure and the Azure Marketplace, Comviva on AWS, Bridge Alliance) rather than through Aduna directly. The one genuinely open surface is a set of five source-available first-party SDK repositories on GitHub for CAMARA Number Verification v2 — the only place Aduna's real endpoints, OAuth scopes and CIBA flow are publicly visible. ## APIs - [Aduna Number Verification API](https://adunaglobal.com/api-segments/security/): CAMARA Number Verification v2.1 — verify a phone number against the carrier network, or read the device phone number, as a replacement for SMS one-time passwords. Live across AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon in the United States. - [Aduna SIM Swap API](https://adunaglobal.com/api-segments/security/): CAMARA SIM Swap — real-time information about recent SIM changes for account-takeover detection. - [Aduna KYC Match API](https://adunaglobal.com/api-segments/identity/): CAMARA KYC Match — compare supplied identity attributes against operator-held KYC data without returning PII. ## Confirmed endpoints (from Aduna's own SDK source; base URL supplied at onboarding) - POST {baseURL}/auth/auth-info — discover the available authorization options for a phone number or PLMN - POST {baseURL}/auth/bc-authorize — CIBA backchannel authentication - POST {baseURL}/auth/token — token endpoint (authorization code, JWT-Bearer, CIBA) - POST {baseURL}/number-verification/v2/verify — verify a phone number against the device - GET {baseURL}/number-verification/v2/device-phone-number — read the device phone number ## Authorization - Scopes: `openid`, `dpv:FraudPreventionAndDetection`, `number-verification:verify`, `number-verification:device-phone-number:read` - Flows: network-based (OAuth 2.0 authorization code), SIM-based JWT-Bearer (recommended, RFC 7523), SIM-based CIBA - Required headers: `Authorization`, `X-Correlator` (random UUID per request) ## SDKs - [Java backend SDK](https://github.com/adunaglobal/nv2-asp-server-java-aduna-sdk) — Spring Boot / Feign, richest public technical artifact - [Web SDK](https://github.com/adunaglobal/nv2-asp-web-aduna-sdk) — TypeScript - [Android SDK](https://github.com/adunaglobal/nv2-asp-android-aduna-sdk) — Kotlin - [iOS SDK](https://github.com/adunaglobal/nv2-asp-ios-aduna-sdk) — Swift - [iOS carrier authentication XCFramework](https://github.com/adunaglobal/cac-ios-aduna-sdk) — Swift All five are source-available under a proprietary Aduna licence and are NOT published to npm, Maven Central or CocoaPods. ## API Evangelist artifacts - [apis.yml](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/apis.yml) - [Authentication profile](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/authentication/aduna-authentication.yml) - [OAuth scopes](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/scopes/aduna-scopes.yml) - [API conventions](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/conventions/aduna-conventions.yml) - [Error model](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/errors/aduna-problem-types.yml) - [Data model](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/data-model/aduna-data-model.yml) - [Conformance](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/conformance/aduna-conformance.yml) - [Lifecycle](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/lifecycle/aduna-lifecycle.yml) - [Changelog](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/changelog/aduna-changelog.yml) - [Packages](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/packages/aduna-packages.yml) - [Well-known index](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/well-known/aduna-well-known.yml) - [Domain security](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/aduna/refs/heads/main/security/aduna-domain-security.yml) ## Docs - [Website](https://adunaglobal.com/) - [Developer documentation (login required)](https://docs.adunaglobal.com/) - [Developer portal (login required)](https://portal.adunaglobal.com/) - [API availability by market and API](https://adunaglobal.com/work-with-us/availability/) - [GitHub organisation](https://github.com/adunaglobal) - [Upstream CAMARA Number Verification specification](https://github.com/camaraproject/NumberVerification/blob/r3.2/code/API_definitions/number-verification.yaml) ## Notes for agents - There is no public OpenAPI, no MCP server, no GraphQL surface, no webhook or AsyncAPI contract and no sandbox. Do not assume a base URL — it is issued per partner at onboarding. - Idempotency is not documented on any Aduna endpoint. The SDK deliberately re-issues a verify request with a second operator token in dual-SIM scenarios. - Errors use the CAMARA envelope `{status, code, message}` on resource calls and the OAuth 2.0 `{error, error_description}` envelope on `/auth/*` calls — not RFC 9457.
