# Aella Credit

> Aella (Aella Credit) is a technology-driven microfinance bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), building consumer and business financial infrastructure across Africa. Its Fintech-as-a-Service platform exposes wallet-as-a-service, KYC/identity verification (BVN, NIN), bank-account lookup and validation, sub-accounts/pooling, and direct-debit collections through a developer-facing API gateway (the Aella Merchant API at api.aellaapp.com). A public developer portal, OpenAPI definition, and SDKs are not yet published.
