# Affiliated Managers Group (AMG) > Affiliated Managers Group is a global asset management company that partners with independent > investment management firms, called Affiliates. AMG provides capital, distribution and operational > support while each Affiliate keeps its investment autonomy. AMG is listed on the NYSE as AMG and > operates a Wealth Platform for financial advisors and an Institutional Platform for global > institutional investors. AMG publishes no developer program: there is no developer portal, no API reference, no published OpenAPI, no SDK, no CLI, no MCP server and no agent card. What AMG does serve are two undocumented, anonymously callable JSON APIs that back its own websites. API Evangelist derived OpenAPI descriptions of both from the route tables AMG's own sites publish. Treat them as private plumbing that happens to answer: AMG documents no terms for programmatic use, offers no support channel for them, and makes no compatibility commitment. ## APIs - [AMG Funds Data API](https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json/amgfundsdata/v1): 16 routes on wealth.amg.com serving AMG Funds product, performance and portfolio data. Anonymous. Structured JSON from /products/funds, /products-data and /products-table; pre-rendered HTML fragments from the fund-detail, quickview and style-box routes. - [AMG Corporate Content API](https://www.amg.com/wp-json/amginc/v1): the AMG Affiliate roster on www.amg.com. A single POST-only route that takes no arguments and returns the list of Affiliate firms with founding year, year joined and page URL. ## Machine-readable descriptions (derived by API Evangelist, not published by AMG) - [Funds Data OpenAPI](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/affiliated-managers-group/refs/heads/main/openapi/affiliated-managers-group-funds-data-openapi.yml) - [Corporate Content OpenAPI](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/affiliated-managers-group/refs/heads/main/openapi/affiliated-managers-group-corporate-openapi.yml) - [Provider profile (apis.yml)](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/api-evangelist/affiliated-managers-group/refs/heads/main/apis.yml) ## How to call them - No authentication. No key, token or OAuth. Send no credential headers. - Base URLs are the WordPress REST roots: https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json and https://www.amg.com/wp-json. - Version is a path segment inside the namespace: amgfundsdata/v1, amginc/v1. - Errors are the WordPress REST envelope, not RFC 9457: { "code": "...", "message": "...", "data": { "status": 404 } }. - Two routes return a JSON string that must be parsed a second time: /amgfundsdata/v1/products/quickview/{ticker} and /amginc/v1/affiliates. - No pagination, no filtering, no field selection. /amgfundsdata/v1/products-data returns roughly 2.4 MB whole. - No rate limit is documented and no RateLimit-*, X-RateLimit-* or Retry-After header is returned. Be conservative. - Responses are edge-cached by CloudFront and carry x-robots-tag: noindex — AMG does not intend them to be syndicated. - Read-only. There is no write, no reversal operation and no idempotency contract, because there is nothing to undo. ## Worked example Look up an AMG fund by ticker: 1. GET https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json/amgfundsdata/v1/products/funds — find the row whose `ticker` matches; keep its `fund_id` and `wp_product_id`. 2. GET https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json/amgfundsdata/v1/fund-detail/{ticker}/overview — objective and key facts. 3. GET https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json/amgfundsdata/v1/fund-detail/{ticker}/performance — trailing and calendar returns. 4. GET https://wealth.amg.com/wp-json/amgfundsdata/v1/fund-detail/{ticker}/boutique — the managing AMG Affiliate. Steps 2 to 4 return { "success": true, "data": { "html": "..." } }. The values are inside the HTML fragment. For structured numbers instead, read the matching row out of /amgfundsdata/v1/products-data. ## Data model - Affiliate: an independent investment firm AMG holds a stake in. Keyed by display name and amg.com URL. - Fund: keyed by `fund_id`, shared across share classes. - ShareClass: keyed by `ticker` and by `wp_product_id`. Carries NAV, trailing performance and Morningstar rating. - SmaStrategy: separately managed account strategies, addressed by their own identifier — a fund ticker returns 404 `sma_not_found`. - The affiliate roster and the fund data are separate WordPress installs with no shared key. Joining a fund to its boutique across the two APIs requires matching on display name. ## What AMG does not publish - No developer portal, API reference, getting-started guide or Postman collection. - No OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL SDL, JSON Schema, WSDL or .proto. - No /.well-known/ documents of any kind: security.txt, openid-configuration, oauth-authorization-server, api-catalog, ai-plugin.json, agent-card.json and agent.json all return 404 on every AMG host. - No SDK, CLI, MCP server, agent card, changelog, status page, deprecation policy, SLA or rate-limit policy. - No published API pricing or plans — AMG's commercial surface is fund management and performance fees disclosed in Affiliate fund prospectuses, not API consumption. ## Company - [Website](https://www.amg.com/) - [About AMG](https://www.amg.com/about-amg/) - [Affiliates](https://www.amg.com/partnership-approach/affiliates/) - [AMG Wealth Platform](https://wealth.amg.com/) - [Institutional Platform](https://www.amg.com/about-amg/global-institutional-platform/) - [Investor Relations](https://ir.amg.com/) - [Press releases](https://ir.amg.com/news-releases) - [Contact](https://www.amg.com/contact-us/) - [Cybersecurity and Data Privacy](https://www.amg.com/about-amg/corporate-responsibility/cybersecurity/) - [Terms and Conditions](https://www.amg.com/terms-and-conditions/) - [Privacy Notices](https://www.amg.com/privacy-notices/)
