# Aleph Alpha

> Aleph Alpha is a Heidelberg, Germany-based AI company building sovereign, specialized large language models (SLLMs) for European enterprises and public-sector organizations. Its PhariaAI suite is an end-to-end, self-hostable stack, and the PhariaInference HTTP API (https://api.aleph-alpha.com) exposes completion, chat, embeddings, semantic search, tokenization, and explainability using bearer-token authentication.
