# Apiable > Apiable is an API portal platform. It gives an API team a single-tenant, white-label developer > portal on a custom domain, bundles APIs into products and plans, onboards partners and developers > self-service, meters and monetizes usage through Stripe, and synchronizes all of it with the > customer's existing API gateway (Amazon API Gateway, Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management). > Apiable does not sit in the API request path — it reads gateway access logs retrospectively for > usage and billing. Apiable itself publishes one API: the Apiable Platform API v2, an OpenAPI 3.1 > REST contract of 66 operations across 12 resource groups, authenticated with OAuth 2.0 client > credentials, plus a signed outbound webhook surface. ## APIs - [Apiable Platform API v2](https://www.apiable.io/docs/api-reference/): 66 operations over products, plans, subscriptions, teams, users, companies, invitations, documentation, files and webhooks. OAuth 2.0 client credentials; every operation requires a token. ## Specs - [OpenAPI 3.1 (published by Apiable)](https://www.apiable.io/specs/apiable-platform-api.json): the document the live API reference is rendered from. ## Docs - [Documentation home](https://www.apiable.io/docs/) - [Platform API reference](https://www.apiable.io/docs/api-reference/) - [Getting started / onboarding](https://www.apiable.io/docs/get-started/onboarding/) - [Automation overview](https://www.apiable.io/docs/automation/) - [Webhooks](https://www.apiable.io/docs/automation/webhooks/): 9 event types, Standard Webhooks signing, hourly retry up to 3 attempts, 24-hour delivery history. - [CI/CD documentation sync](https://www.apiable.io/docs/automation/ci-cd/): push an OpenAPI spec from a pipeline with the apiable/apiable-github-actions action. - [Report usage with the API](https://www.apiable.io/docs/monetization/report-usage-api/) - [Scope-based access control](https://www.apiable.io/docs/access-control/scopes/) - [Security & compliance](https://www.apiable.io/security/) ## Conventions - Auth: OAuth 2.0 client credentials at `/api/oauth2/token`; Bearer JWT on every call. - Scopes: `apiable/platform` (all 66 operations), `apiable/cicd` (35 documentation, webhook, custom-property, file and server-info operations), `apiable/admin` (documented for webhooks). - Versioning: `X-API-Version` header, optional on every operation; enumerated value `2024-09-25`; the API answers with the latest version when the header is omitted. - Pagination: `page`, `size` (max 100), `sort`, `search`; responses wrapped in `PageResponse`. - Errors: standard HTTP status codes with a JSON body. NOT RFC 9457. Declared statuses are 400, 401 and 404 only; no 429 and no 5xx is declared. - Idempotency: none. No Idempotency-Key header or documented retry-safety contract exists. - Rate limits: none published for the Platform API. No RateLimit-*/Retry-After header, no 429. - Reversibility: cancel-and-revoke a subscription with an explicit `cancelAt` timestamp; approve has a matching reject on subscriptions and users; webhooks and team memberships can be removed. No window is published for any reversal, and metered usage has no reversal at all. ## Operational - [Status page](https://status.apiable.io/) - [Trust center](https://trust.apiable.io/) - [Support policy](https://www.apiable.io/terms/support-policy/) - No changelog, no /.well-known/ document, no MCP server, no A2A agent card, no AsyncAPI, no CLI, and no first-party client SDK for the Platform API are published as of 2026-09-02. ## Commercial - [Pricing](https://www.apiable.io/pricing/): quote only.
