# Assertible > Assertible is a hosted API testing and monitoring service. You register a "web > service", create tests with assertions on status, headers, body content, JSON > Schema and response time, and Assertible runs them on a schedule, after a > deployment, or on demand. Its public programmatic surface is three POST > operations used to drive test runs from CI/CD. Generated 2026-09-04 by the API Evangelist enrichment pipeline from the apis.yml record at https://github.com/api-evangelist/assertible and from Assertible's own published documentation. Assertible does not publish an llms.txt of its own (https://assertible.com/llms.txt returned 404 on 2026-09-04). ## Base facts - Website: https://assertible.com/ - API host: https://assertible.com (NOT api.assertible.com, which does not resolve) - Auth: HTTP Basic — API token as the username, empty password - Errors: `{"code": "...", "message": "..."}` as application/json - Status: http://status.assertible.com - No OpenAPI, no GraphQL, no MCP server, no agent card, no webhooks out, no SDKs. https://assertible.com/docs/api reads "Our api is under construction right now." ## API operations - POST https://assertible.com/deployments — record a deployment and trigger its tests. Required: `service` (web service UUID), `version`. Optional: `environment`, `environmentUrl`, `ref`, `url`, `github`, `repository`, `tests[]`, `testGroups[]`, `wait`. Docs: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/deployments - POST https://assertible.com/apis/{serviceId}/run — trigger URL; run a web service's tests. Optional: `environment`, `endpoint`, `url`, `wait`, `tests[]`, or `api_token` as a query parameter. Docs: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/automation#trigger-urls - POST https://assertible.com/imports/{importId}/sync — re-import a spec and create or update its tests. Optional: `tests[]`. Docs: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/sync There are no read operations. Web service ids, test ids and import ids must be copied out of the Assertible dashboard; they cannot be listed over the API. ## Runtime semantics an agent needs - Retry safety: POST /deployments is a natural-key upsert on service+environment+version. POST /imports/{id}/sync matches tests on a deterministic key. POST /apis/{id}/run is NOT idempotent — every call starts another run. - Reversal: none. No cancel, delete, undo or rollback on any operation, and no stated window. No dry-run mode. - Rate limits: none published, no rate-limit headers returned. Plan limits are on capacity (web services, tests, retained results, members, schedule frequency), not on request volume. ## Documentation - Docs home: https://assertible.com/docs - Creating web services: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/web-services - Configuring tests: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/tests - Making assertions: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/assertions - JSON path syntax: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/json-path - Viewing test results: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/test-results - Tracking deployments: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/deployments - Syncing specifications: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/sync - Automation and integrations: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/automation - Auth types for the service UNDER TEST (not Assertible's own API auth): https://assertible.com/docs/guide/auth - Working with organizations: https://assertible.com/docs/guide/organizations ## Product - Plans and pricing: https://assertible.com/plans — Personal free, Standard $25/mo, Startup $50/mo, Business $100/mo - Sign up: https://assertible.com/signup - Sign in: https://assertible.com/login - Terms of service: https://assertible.com/termsofservice - Privacy policy: https://assertible.com/privacypolicy - Contact: https://assertible.com/contact - Blog: https://assertible.com/blog (Atom: https://assertible.com/blog/atom.xml) - GitHub: https://github.com/assertible - CI/CD examples: https://github.com/assertible/deployments ## Integrations GitHub deployments and status checks, Slack, PagerDuty, Zapier, and email hooks. Assertible receives GitHub deployment webhooks; it does not send generic outbound webhooks to a customer URL. ## What it consumes OpenAPI 2.0/3.x and Postman Collections (import and sync), JSON Schema assertions, JSON Path, and — for the service under test — Basic, Digest, API token, OAuth 1.0a, OAuth 2.0 and session/cookie auth.
