- No public API, OpenAPI/Swagger spec, GraphQL endpoint, AsyncAPI/webhook surface, SDK, CLI, MCP server, A2A agent card, or developer portal was found. Re-probed 2026-08-13.
- The public site is seven Webflow pages; https://codec.ai/sitemap.xml (HTTP 200) is the only machine-readable document Codec serves and it lists no developer or documentation path.
- /.well-known/security.txt, /openid-configuration, /oauth-authorization-server, /api-catalog, /ai-plugin.json, /agent-card.json, /agent.json, /llms.txt, /openapi.json and /swagger.json all returned 404 on codec.ai.
- Certificate transparency (crt.sh) surfaced four secondary hosts, none of which serves a working origin: app.codec.ai (Cloudflare 525, origin SSL handshake failure), blog.codec.ai (Cloudflare 1014), tools.codec.ai (TLS certificate host mismatch, connection refused), resources.codec.ai (404 on every path). There is no api./docs./developer./portal./mcp. host in DNS.
- The npm package `codec-ai` is unrelated third-party software (a Chinese-language code-generation assistant published by an individual maintainer), not a Codec client library. No first-party package exists on npm, PyPI, RubyGems, crates.io, NuGet, Maven Central, or pkg.go.dev, and there is no `codec-ai` GitHub organization (HTTP 404).
