# Department of Better Technology (CityBase Screendoor)

> The Department of Better Technology builds Screendoor, a form-building and submission-management

> and approval workflows. The Screendoor REST API programmatically manages projects, forms,
> statuses, labels, responses (submissions), response labels, and response assignments. DOBT was
> founded in 2013 by former Presidential Innovation Fellows and was acquired by CityBase.
