summary: >-
EXIM has retired its only programmatic data surface and replaced it with static file
distribution. There is no versioning policy, no Sunset/Deprecation header practice, no
SLA and no status page — because after 2023-09-14 there is no service left to version.
The one lifecycle event on record is a real, dated, provider-announced decommissioning.
versioning:
  scheme: none
  current_version: null
  note: >-
Nothing versioned remains. The surviving artifact is a quarterly CSV whose FILENAME
carries the fiscal quarter (data-gov_fy26-q2.csv), which is a release marker, not a
version scheme: the previous quarter's URL is simply replaced in data.json.

  note: >-
EXIM published no deprecation policy and served no Sunset/Deprecation headers. The
data.exim.gov shutdown was announced in the prose `description` field of the dataset
itself — readable by a human, invisible to a client.

No status page found on any exim.gov host. eximonline.exim.gov is an authenticated
application portal with no public availability page.

dig returns no A or CNAME record for data.exim.gov; curl reports "Could not resolve
host". The retirement is complete — the host is gone, not merely redirected.
  impact: >-
Every SODA query endpoint under data.exim.gov, and the whole SoQL query capability
($select/$where/$order/$limit/$offset/$q), went away with it. Nothing replaced the
QUERY interface; only bulk file download survives.
