# Futu OpenAPI

> Futu (富途 / moomoo) is a digital brokerage and financial-technology company (Futu Holdings, NASDAQ: FUTU) offering the Futu OpenAPI — a programmatic trading and market-data interface for Hong Kong, US, China A-share, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan markets plus options, futures, crypto and event contracts. The API is a proprietary Protocol Buffers (proto2) protocol spoken over TCP to a local OpenD gateway program, with official SDKs for Python, Java, C#, C++ and JavaScript and an official MCP-compatible Agent Skill hub.
