# Gengo

> Gengo provides fast, affordable, high-quality human translation in all major languages via 1000s of certified translators worldwide, exposed through the Gengo API (v2). Submit text or file translation jobs, group them into orders, retrieve completed translations, run quotes, look up language pairs, manage glossaries, and receive job status updates via callback URLs. Authentication is a public api_key plus an HMAC-SHA1 signature (api_sig) over a Unix timestamp.
