# Getro

> Getro provides talent and hiring software for VC firms and professional communities. Its two products are GetroJobs — one automatically-updated job board aggregating every opportunity across a network's companies — and GetroConnect — a relationship/warm-introduction layer with People Finder, Company Research, contact outreach and CRM. The Getro Network API (v2) is a read-oriented JSON REST API that exposes a network's companies, jobs and contacts, authenticated with a bearer API key.

## Conventions

- Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>` (keys issued in the Getro admin portal; request a developer key via help@getro.com). CORS not supported.
- Versioning: URI-path, current major version v2.
- Pagination: `page` + `per_page` (max 100); response carries `items` and `meta.total`.
- Filtering: multi-value OR filters are pipe-delimited (e.g. `job_functions=Software%20Engineering%7CHealth`).
- Errors: standard HTTP status codes (400, 401, 403, 404, 422, 500, 503) with a human-readable message; not RFC 9457.
