# Good Energy

> Good Energy is a British 100% renewable electricity and green gas supplier and green-technology
> installer, founded 1999, headquartered in Chippenham, Wiltshire, and owned since March 2025 by Abu
> Dhabi based Esyasoft Investment Holding. It is a licensed GB supplier, the largest voluntary
> administrator of the Feed-in Tariff, a Smart Export Guarantee counterparty, and an installer of
> solar, batteries, heat pumps and EV chargers.

IMPORTANT FOR AGENTS: Good Energy publishes NO developer API, NO developer portal, NO OpenAPI or
GraphQL contract, NO SDK and NO webhooks. Verified 2026-07-27: developer/developers/docs/data
subdomains do not resolve (NXDOMAIN); /developers, /api and /docs return 404; api.goodenergy.co.uk
answers but returns 404 on every documented path (403 via WAF on any path containing "swagger").
Customer usage and billing data are reachable only by the account holder after login at the customer
hub. There is no UK consumer-energy data right (no CDR, no Green Button, no accredited-recipient
scheme) that would compel a public data API, and Good Energy has built none voluntarily. Do not
attempt to synthesise endpoints — none exist.

## Context

- Regulatory position: party to the Smart Energy Code, Balancing and Settlement Code (Elexon) and Retail Energy Code; operates DCC-adopted SMETS2 smart meters. That obligation is industry-code infrastructure and yields no public endpoint.
- Peer contrast: Octopus Energy, the same market and regulator, publishes a self-serve developer portal with REST and GraphQL Kraken APIs. The difference between the two GB suppliers is a product decision, not a regulatory one.
- Open GB energy data comes from NESO (Carbon Intensity), Elexon (BMRS/Insights) and the DNO portals — not from suppliers.
