Founded in 2015 by Biju Kulathakal and Jason Barsema, Halo lets advisors analyze, customize, price, execute and then monitor outcome-based investment products from a single dashboard, including tracking observation and maturity dates on issued notes. The company reports more than $45.5B in transactions since 2015 and employs 100+ people. Its affiliate Halo Securities LLC is an SEC-registered broker-dealer and a member of FINRA/SIPC, acting as distributor and selling agent for structured note products. ## API surface Halo Investing publishes **no public API, developer portal, API documentation, SDK, CLI, MCP server, or machine-readable contract** as of 2026-08-04. Contract discovery probed both real hosts — `haloinvesting.com` and `notes.haloinvesting.com` — for `/openapi.json`, `/openapi.yaml`, `/swagger.json`, `/v2/api-docs`, `/v3/api-docs`, `/api-docs`, `/swagger-ui.html`, `/graphql`, `/api`, `/rest`, `/llms.txt` and the full `/.well-known/` discovery surface including `agent-card.json` and `agent.json`. Every probe missed. Package registries (npm, PyPI, RubyGems, crates.io, NuGet) carry no first-party client library, and no GitHub organization exists. Two catch-all traps on this domain produce false positives and are documented in the well-known probe record: the WordPress marketing site returns HTTP 200 with an HTML article for **every** unknown path (so `/llms.txt` and `/openapi.json` "200s" are soft-404s), and `*.haloinvesting.com` is a wildcard DNS record, so `api.haloinvesting.com` resolves and answers 502 despite not being an API host. The advisor platform at `notes.haloinvesting.com` is entirely authenticated — every path 301-redirects to `/react/app/onboarding/login`. Advisor-side API integration is offered through the third-party **Schwab OpenView Gateway**, operated by Performance Technologies, Inc.
