# Handelsbanken UK

> Handelsbanken UK (Handelsbanken plc) is the UK relationship bank of Svenska Handelsbanken AB, operating a decentralised network of 200+ local branches. It is authorised by the PRA and regulated by the FCA and PRA (Financial Services Register 806852). Its Great Britain market Open Banking / PSD2 APIs are published to the Berlin Group NextGenPSD2 standard (not the OBIE Read/Write standard used by the CMA9), on the group developer portal at developer.handelsbanken.com. TPPs enrol against the production gateway with a PSD2 eIDAS (QWAC/QSEALC) or UK Open Banking (OBWAC) certificate, using OAuth2 client authentication, mutual-TLS and PSD2 strong customer authentication, and can test against a sandbox first.

## Authentication
