# IEX (Investors Exchange)

> IEX Group, Inc. operates IEX Exchange, a U.S. national securities exchange for equities (with IEX Options coming soon), dedicated to fairer, more transparent trading. Its developer-facing surface is market-data and connectivity: real-time depth-of-book and top-of-book feeds (DEEP+, DEEP, TOPS) distributed over the binary IEX Transport Protocol (IEX-TP), plus downloadable historical PCAP samples and published feed specifications. Access is via a Data Subscriber Agreement rather than a public REST API.
