Indexed is a B2B data platform for investors, founders, and sales teams who need to research private companies and their funding history. The database covers 98,000+ companies and 22,200+ investors globally, with 127,600+ funding events.

**Plans (limits are per account, across all of its keys):**

- Silver: 250 searches a day, 350 credits a month, 3 API keys, 60 requests/min
- Gold: 1,000 searches a day, 1,500 credits a month, 10 API keys, 120 requests/min
- Platinum: 2,500 searches a day, 5,000 credits a month, 25 API keys, 240 requests/min
- Enterprise: 10,000 searches a day, 100 API keys, 600 requests/min by default; credits and limits set by contract

**Every plan, Free included:**
- `GET /companies`, `GET /investors` — search. Every result is the public card an anonymous website visitor sees (for a company: name, website, description, industries, HQ, headcount, total funding); `_revealed` marks entities you have already unlocked. Free keys must search by `q` (or `domain` on companies), cannot sort or use funding/AUM filters, and get 10 rows per page, first 3 pages using page=; cursor pagination requires a paid plan.
- `GET /companies?domain=` — exact-domain lookup (the domain and its subdomains, plus former domains). A miss is free and says why in `coverage_status`.
- `POST /companies/lookup` — batch domain → company card: 1 credit per hit, misses free (each miss carries `coverage_status`).
- `GET /companies/{slug}`, `GET /investors/{slug}` — entity detail; `?depth=slim|standard|full` → 1/2/3 credits (default standard; full adds funding rounds, investors, valuations and tech/app stack). Free's 25 monthly credits cover about 8 full records.
- `POST /reveal` — unlock entities from search results, 3 credits per entity, up to 5 per call on Free (5 on Silver, 10 on Gold, 25 on Platinum, 50 on Enterprise).
- `GET /usage` — credit balance, search quota and limits (free); `GET /industries` — valid industry filter values (free, no key needed).

**Paid plans (Silver and up) add:**
- Search without `q` (filter-only listing), sorting, funding/AUM filters, up to 100 rows per page and deeper pages.
- Tech/app-stack search (`?techStack=`, `?appStack=`) — 3 credits for the first page; later pages with the same filters are free for 15 minutes via the `X-Search-Session` token.
- `POST /enrich` — bulk domain/slug → company matching, 3 credits per newly unlocked match.
- `POST /webhooks` (+ `/webhooks/{id}`, `/test`, `/deliveries`) — HMAC-signed push events (new and updated funding rounds, new companies and investors, updates to companies on a watchlist, domains you missed that are now covered), 2–25 endpoints by plan, 1 credit per delivered event; management and test sends are free.
- `/scheduled-exports` — recurring exports.

**Billing rules:**
- Search inside the daily quota costs no credits; the quota resets at 00:00 UTC. Past it, paid plans pay 1 credit per page and Free gets HTTP 429 until the reset.
- A search or lookup that finds nothing is never charged and never counts against the quota.
- Unlocked entities stay unlocked for 12 months: re-revealing one, or re-fetching it at the same depth, is free.
- Credit exhaustion returns HTTP 402 with a top-up link; rate limits return HTTP 429.
