Founded in 2019, it underwrites shoppers with an AI-driven risk model > drawing on 20,000+ data points, returning approvals up to $5,000 in seconds, then > pays the merchant directly on delivery confirmation while the consumer pays weekly > or biweekly until ownership. Kafene publishes **no public developer program**. As of 2026-08-01 there is no OpenAPI, GraphQL, AsyncAPI or MCP contract, no SDKs or client libraries in any public package registry, no GitHub organization, and no `/.well-known/` discovery surface on any kafene.com host. Merchant integration (in-store POS origination and text-to-apply) is arranged directly with Kafene's partner team, and Kafene also reaches merchants through financing-waterfall networks such as Versatile Credit and LendPro. The `api.kafene.com` hostname resolves to Cloudflare but has no live origin (HTTP 530, error 1016).
