# LUMICKS > LUMICKS is a life-science instrumentation company building tools that directly measure molecular and cellular interactions. Its Dynamic Single-Molecule platform (C-Trap) resolves real-time biomolecular interactions using optical tweezers, and its Cell Avidity platforms (Avidion, z-Movi) quantify immune-cell binding strength for immuno-oncology research. The developer surface is client-side: a Python data-analysis library (lumicks.pylake) and instrument-automation scripting for the Bluelake acquisition software. There is no hosted public web API. ## Developer libraries - [lumicks.pylake on PyPI](https://pypi.org/project/lumicks.pylake/): Official Apache-2.0 Python package (v1.8.0) for analyzing single-molecule optical-tweezer data — force calibration, force-distance curve fitting, kymo/scan imaging, kymotracking, and population dynamics. Install with `pip install lumicks.pylake` or via conda. - [pylake source (GitHub)](https://github.com/lumicks/pylake): Source repository for the pylake library. - [pylake documentation](https://lumicks-pylake.readthedocs.io/en/stable/): Tutorials, API reference, installation guide. - [pylake changelog](https://lumicks-pylake.readthedocs.io/en/stable/changelog.html): Dated release history. - [bluelake-scripting (GitHub)](https://github.com/lumicks/bluelake-scripting): First-party Python scripts for automating the Bluelake instrument-control software. ## Company - [LUMICKS website](https://lumicks.com/): Products, platforms, and applications. - [GitHub organization](https://github.com/lumicks): Open-source repositories. - [Consumables store](https://store.lumicks.com/): Ordering portal for instrument consumables. - [Privacy policy](https://lumicks.com/privacy-policy/) - [Contact](https://lumicks.com/contact/) ## Notes - No hosted REST/GraphQL API, no OpenAPI specification, and no OAuth/OIDC authorization server were found at probe time (2026-07-20). - No `/.well-known/security.txt`, `/llms.txt`, bug-bounty program, or public trust center was found. - Integration is performed locally against instrument-produced data files (Bluelake `.h5`) using the pylake library.
