# Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft Graph)

> Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager and email client in the Microsoft 365 suite. Its programmatic surface is Microsoft Graph — a unified OData 4.0 REST API over mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, people, categories, mail rules, focused inbox, and change notifications — plus the Office.js library for Outlook add-ins. Authentication is OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft identity platform (Entra ID). Base URL: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0.
