# Ordo

> Ordo (The Smart Request Company Ltd, ordopay.com) was a United Kingdom open-banking payments provider that let businesses collect money directly from a customer's bank account over UK Faster Payments — avoiding card fees and chargebacks. Built on PSD2 / UK Open Banking payment initiation (PIS), it offered Request to Pay, single payments, e-commerce, Point of Sale / QR, contact-centre payments, Variable Recurring Payments (VRP), and Account Information (AIS) / account-verification services. Ordo was FCA-authorised. It has since ceased trading and been acquired by Neonomics; the marketing site remains live while the developer portal (docs.myordo.com) is offline. This profile is derived from six OpenAPI 3.0.1 definitions harvested from the archived developer portal.
