# OverDrive

> OverDrive is a digital reading platform distributing ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to public libraries and schools worldwide (Libby and Sora apps). It publishes REST APIs for working against a library's OverDrive collection: Discovery (Library Account, Search, Metadata, Availability), Circulation (patron checkouts and holds), Reporting, and Title Link. Auth is OAuth 2.0 client-credentials for discovery and patron authentication (incl. QR-code) for borrowing.
