# AMD Pensando

> AMD Pensando (formerly Pensando Systems, acquired by AMD in 2022) builds programmable Distributed Services Cards (DPUs) and the Policy and Services Manager (PSM) control plane. PSM exposes a Kubernetes-style declarative REST API for managing clusters, networks, security policy, monitoring, and services across Cloud, Distributed Services Switch, and Enterprise deployments. The API is served per-appliance; first-party Python bindings and a Terraform provider consume it.

## Notes

- There is no publicly hosted OpenAPI/Swagger document — the schema is served only from a running PSM appliance.
