# Per Vices

> Per Vices Corporation is a Toronto-based company that designs and manufactures high-performance software defined radio (SDR) platforms. Signal tuning is handled in hardware while the remaining radio functionality runs in software, so a single application-agnostic platform serves many markets. Per Vices publishes no hosted web API: developers program the radios through the UHD (USRP Hardware Driver) C++ framework, GNU Radio integration, a device-local web UI on the SDR's management port, and the UHD state tree. Host software, firmware and examples are open source on its GitHub org.

## Control interface

There is no public, internet-reachable API. The SDR is controlled on the customer's own network:

- Management web UI over HTTP on the device (default 192.168.10.2), with pages for RX chain, TX chain, clock, configuration and debug. See [PVHT-13](https://support.pervices.com/how-to/pvht-13-web-UI/).
- A socket.io control channel used by that UI: `prop_rd`, `prop_wr`, `systctl`, `raw_cmd`, `hexfile`, returning `prop_ret`, `prop_wr_ret`, `raw_reply`.
- The UHD state tree, addressed by hierarchical paths such as `/mboards/0/rx_codecs/A/gains`, read and written with `uhd_manual_get` and `uhd_manual_set`. See [PVHT-15](https://support.pervices.com/how-to/pvht-15-get-set-paths-uhd/).
- No authentication, authorization or TLS on the device interface; access control is the network boundary. Per Vices documents a VPN setup in [PVAN-7](https://support.pervices.com/application-notes/pvan-7/).

## Notes

- No OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL, MCP server or A2A agent card. Every `/.well-known/` path returned 404 on both www.pervices.com and support.pervices.com on 2026-08-14.
- The marketing site answers the stock WordPress REST discovery document at `/wp-json/`. That is CMS and plugin plumbing, not a Per Vices product API, and it is not listed as one.
- Full integration support is provided directly to customers.
