# Pex

> Pex (part of Vobile since April 2025) is a content-identification and digital-rights technology company. Its APIs identify recordings, compositions, and AI-generated music across digital platforms, matching audio even when it has been sped up, slowed down, pitch-shifted, or partially obscured against a registry of 120M+ indexed recordings.

- [Pex Discovery API](https://docs.api.pex.com/): DRM/CMS and content-monitoring — manage rights assets, collections, and whitelists; track infringing copies; run takedowns. Base URL https://api.pex.com. Bearer API-key auth. Rate limit 16 requests/second.
- [Pex AI Song Detector API](https://docs.pex.com/ai-song-detector/api-documentation/): classify whether a track was created by an AI music generator (Suno, Udio, Boomy, ElevenLabs) or a human. Base URL https://api.ae.pex.com. OAuth 2.0 client-credentials. Endpoints POST /v1/ai-detector/detect and POST /v1/ai-detector/detect-url.
- [Pex Search API](https://docs.pex.com/search/api-documentation/): real-time automatic content recognition (ACR) via audio fingerprints. Base URL https://api.ae.pex.com. OAuth 2.0 client-credentials. Async start-search / check-search workflow keyed by lookup_id. Currently in private testing.
